This frame will still let the nook fit into the neoprene soft cover...which in turn gets tossed into my messenger bag...good combo...

I traded my other book cover for this frame. It maintains the sleek look of the Nook, and keeps it protected. Very light for those who like to read in bed or on the couch. The power button and the buttons on the frame sides work as normal. I use the frame with the anti-glare screen protector and the Stella Light for the most slick and streamlined combination. If I travel, I just tuck it all in my bag or purse.

For me, holding the Nook with no cover at all just didn't feel good because of the rather sharp edge around the periphery of the front of the unit. But the silicone frame covers the edge and makes holding the Nook a lot more comfortable. To protect the screen when traveling, I cut a piece of thin, rigid black plastic that fits over the front of the unit and is held in place with a wide rubber band. Voila! A very usable, inexpensive travel case!

I bought this silicone cover to go along with the neoprene case. Other reviews had stated that the Nook still fit into the neoprene case with this silicone cover on it. It will fit, but it's VERY snug. It was very hard to zip up the neoprene and I'm afraid the zipper won't last long. I think the silicone is great on it's own...feels good and not much added weight. I personally did not want one of those big "book-looking" covers. This definitely fits that bill. But the only problem is when you want to take it with you somewhere. I would never put my Nook in my purse with only the silicone frame on it as I want something to cover the face. I'm going to take back this silicone case and keep the neoprene case. I love reading the nook on it's own with no cover on it. I can store it in the neoprene to keep it dust free and I can travel with it in my purse and know it's safe. If you are looking for something lightweight and comfortable and aren't planning on traveling with it, then this silicone is great. If you want to throw it in a bag or a purse, then definitely go with the neoprene case.
Oh and one other negative thing about the silicon...it collects dust right away! It all just sticks to that silicone. I have a dog too, and the dog hair sticks easily and is hard to rub off. That's just the nature of the material.

I prefer this to a full cover on the Simple Touch. Very light weight and I love the feel of it in my hand. I am really considering getting one for my Tablet as well. The look is very sleek and simple. I love it!

I had a book style cover for my Nook Simple Touch, and it seemed too bulky and got in the way... plus, the cover wouldn't stay folded back while I was reading and seemed flimsy. I received this frame style cover as a gift, and it has solved the problem - I greatly prefer this, as it is not in the way at all.

I tried using side buttons with and without the cover and its harder with the cover(noticeable harder).
But it get additional protection, so in value 50/50.
