I loved Betrayal. Would give this book a 10. The week Charli and Nox had was amazing. I couldn't believe how controlling Alex's family is, expecting her to give up her dream to marry a guy she went to school with. Her move to New York and signing on with Infidelity, looking forward to the next book to see where Charli and Nox's relationship goes. I'm sure there will be some twists and turns with her crazy family as well.

I absolutely loved Aleatha's Consequences series and had no doubt that her Infidelity series would not disappoint. At first I could only read one chapter at a time because my mind was constantly anticipating what she had plotted out for Charli & Nox. My mind has been forever scarred by Tony. But a wise woman told me that Nox was NOTHING like Tony. She was right. He is the complete opposite. Once I got on a roll I could not put it down. I know it's been written before by the author but the title isn't as black & white as assumed. I was very happy to find out all 5 books are going to be about Charli & Nox. They spent one week together. No last names, no strings but that isn't enough. I can't wait to find out more about the things left unsaid about her family and what lies in Nox's past as well as their future together. - "...since the first moment I saw you, I've made exceptions. I've done and said things that I do not, as a rule, do. You do that to me. You make me rebel even against myself."

Loved it

I feel it could of been written with more detail. Also in the begining whenhe was talking about his mom i thought it was weird how he kept calling her by her name rather than mom. The book is interesting but only alittle over 50pages long. I'm gonna read the next book cause I want to find out but hope its longer and more detailed.

I was not expecting to be so hooked into this book. The story layout is different but helps with story and character development. The mystery and secrets everyone is dancing around makes for an interesting read, lets not forget the sex too. You feel for the characters, there's raw emotion and pain, but strong wit and humor. Exceedingly pleased to have come across this book. Can't wait for the next one!

I didn't think I could love Aleatha Romig's stories more than I already do, but I guess I was wrong. This book so different from the others she's written but still has all the hallmarks of her stories. A sin this book literally took away my breath and my heart is still pounding. Please be still my beating heart. I'm still riding on the emotional high I got from this book. Can we please fast forward to January so I can read the next part? I'm not even sure where to start. I didn't read the blurb going into the book, which was a great idea. I had no idea what to expect and it allowed the story to take control. I really liked Alexandria in all her forms, whether she called herself by her given name, Alex or Charli. I hated how confined and repressed she felt in the place where she should've been the safest. I watched as she yearned to be free of the bonds that held her back and I cheered as she found the strength to buck them. I loved her adventurous side and her determination to achieve her dreams. She's strong and I have a feeling she'll be successful at the challenges coming her way, and she's going to have plenty. I was as smitten with Nox as Charli was. The spark between them was white hot. I loved how they took it slow even though they didn't have lots of time and the chemistry between them was off the charts. I found myself hoping they'd be able to find something lasting beyond their one week together, but to find out if that happens, you're going to have to read the book to find out. I won't be spoiling anyone's reading experience. Nox was really a mystery in this book I look forward to finding out more about him in the upcoming books. This story is much more than Charli and Nox. There's this mystery about what's going on in Savannah and the reason behind the betrayal in Charli/Alex's life. I was just as devastated as Alex when she found out what had happened. I can't wait to find out they why. There's got to be something there with why her mother keeps stressing her heritage. I can't wait to find out what it is. I really enjoyed how the story went from the past and the present. I know a lot of readers don't like it, but it really helped me understand the multiple story arcs that were going on and how they all tied together. And for everyone who is worried about this book being about cheating, it's not. That's about as spoilery as I'll get. Aleatha Romig has written an amazing book. She's proven before how versatile her writing style is, but this is her hottest book yet, and my favorite. She's set the bar for this series quite high, and I'm so eager to see how she outdoes herself, again and again. Pick up this book and find out why everyone is raving about it!

5 Knock-it-out-of-the-park Stars. What a sensational read! I've just read a couple of books that were a bit meh, so this book was like a welcome breath of fresh air. I loved it in its entirety - the beautiful writing, solid, consistent character and plot development, steady pacing, and steamy romance. This book had it all in spades and it sucked me in from the very first line. There was a heady, enticing mix of romance, mystery, and suspense, combined with dark secrets and plenty of skeletons in the closet. The premise is so intriguing - one week to be someone else, and to indulge pent-up (hidden) desires, one week to escape the trap lying in wait. Who wouldn't want an opportunity to enact out some fantasies with an amazing, hot guy before taking a return trip to reality? I felt shivers all over whenever Alton was in the frame. I know where this is going and it's going to be explosive. No wonder she referred to herself as Rapunzel - her childhood was a prison and her family do their best to lure her back in. I loved that Alex was strong enough to stand up to them, and so willing to forge a future path in life on her own terms, even though she is letting go of everything she has known and taken for granted. She was a strong character who wasn't afraid to stretch herself out of her comfort zone with Nox either, and it can't have been easy to relinquish control to him, but she was brave. I'm intrigued to find out more about Nox. We only get one chapter from his perspective and I'm hoping the second book has more in his voice. I still need to understand what really makes him tick. When Infidelity was introduced I was blown away by the unexpected turn in the plot - totally unpredictable, and I love when a book catches me by surprise. Though I did foresee where it was going with our couple after that revelation, it was still a fantastic twist. And that ending? Sweet Jesus, I think I'll DIE if I don't get my hands on the next book, like NOW!! I need it like I need air to breathe. I know plenty of people hate cliffhangers, but I love'em even though they are the worst form of bookish torture. I like them because it makes the book MEMORABLE and difficult to forget. This is definitely one that is going to stay with me until I can get my hands on the continuation of this story. I would highly recommend this book, especially if you enjoy strong storytelling, complex characters, and flawless writing. I also think it will particularly appeal to fans of Laurelin Paige, Lori Foster, Elle Kennedy and Addison Moore. Favorite Quotes: "Dreams, like Fairytales, all come to an end. We wake or turn that final page. There's no escaping it. It may take days, years, or an entire lifetime, but forever doesn't truly exist. No matter how hard we wish or try, the end always comes." "The void in my chest gaped open. It was so painful I feared looking down. If I did, I was sure I'd see bloody shreds of vessels and flesh where my heart had been." Thanks to the author and Inkslinger PR for gifting me a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review

Betrayal is the first book in the Infidelity Series by bestselling author Aleatha Romig- another page turning book that will keeping you up all night. Betrayal is intriguing, hot and super sexy- with many twists along the way. Aleatha brings her characters to life with her beautifully written words painting a picture of a world that make you want to jump into and belong. Betrayal has been imprinted in my heart and will continue to play in my mind forever. Nox and Alexandria are complex characters with different layers- strong, passionate and compelling. Alexandria and her best friend are spending the week in a high end plush spa before starting the next chapter in their lives. She does not have time for men- Alexandria has her future planned out. Strong and determined no one will stop for fulfilling her dreams. Nox is on business at the spa working until he sees the beautiful Alexandria sitting by the pool with a young man, also interested in Alexandria. Nox is determined to “rescue” from her suitor – in order to get to know the beauty basting in the sun. Nox is sexy, rich and used to getting what he wants. Nox and Alexandria’s first dinner doesn’t go as planned- neither wanting to reveal too much about themselves agree to one simple rule- no past and no future. They are only going to live in the present for one week- leaving the spa nothing more than an unforgettable memory. Nox is determined to give Alexandria all of her unknown desires. Alexandria is determined to allow him and live in the moment. Their chemistry is hot, fun and full of exciting moments. Betrayal was extraordinary, mind blowing and has me begging for more. I cannot wait to get the rest of the Infidelity series.

what the what?!?!? Holy bananas... that. was. ridiculous!! (cannot wait for the next book) I'm not exactly sure what to even say about 'Betrayal'. I've read previous novels by Aleatha Romig and I always wonder... how will she top that? Then I read something new (like Betrayal) and I'm completely blown away. She gives you just enough to keep you wanting more, but not enough to put any pieces together. "My imagination wasn't even close to what I found." This quote perfectly sums up what I read. I went into this with certain expectations. I read the last page and let out a breath I didn't even realize I was holding. The synopsis didn't completely make sense until after I finished reading the book. That is the beauty of Aleatha Romig's writing. It's so full of depth that you never know what you're going to get. I feel like she just scratched the surface with Betrayal, which worries me. If I was so caught up in book 1, what will happen with book 2? If you've never read anything by Aleatha, you are doing yourself a complete disservice. She completely messes with your head... all with a smile on her face (she is seriously one of the nicest people).

Aleatha is back with a new series, Indifelity, and she does not disappoint in making my jaw drop and say WHAT JUST HAPPENED!? This is the first book in a five book series. Aleatha's Consequences series is one my all time favorite series. So when I heard about this new series I was ready to be "Aleatha'd". I give this book 4 1/2 stars. I loved the characters, but sometimes the interactions seemed a little bit sluggish. This could also be because I am very impatient and I want to know things right now. (I don't know how I am going to wait a few months to get the next installment!) But by the end of the book I was left wanting for more and my mind was trying to figure out what was going to happen next. This book does end with a plot twist that will have you begging for more. Betrayal introduced us to Alexandra/Alex a girl who is way to serious in life and love. There is also the pressure from her mother and step-father to settle down and carry on the family name like a good southern women should. Alex decides to take one week of freedom and become Charlie a women who has no last name and no worries. During her week she meets Nox. Nox is the mysterious alpha male that finds himself drawn to Charlie and make him break his own rules on life. Nox and Charlie agree that after this week, there will be no more contact. Just a week of freedom and fun. After her week of blissfulness, Alex is summed home and her precious freedom and the chance to become a lawyer is put in danger by her family. Alex decides that she is the only one that can determine her fate, so she breaks free and is struggling to find a way to make her dreams come true. Alex choices and actions have consequences as she will find out when she runs into Nox again.
