At thirty-four, I just now feel like I can keep a straight face while saying the word “rectum” (which is actually a huge lie because I just laughed out loud while reading this to my husband). I live with my iPod firmly affixed to my body, drive too fast, and laugh/cry at inappropriate times.

    Love this series

    I just finished this book nd cant wait to start the next one.. not only was this book exciting nd well written it was freaking hilarious somehow the author worked her funny sarcastic personality into the story like magic LOVED IT!

    There's a new girl in town...Ruby Dee

    Caged is one of the most exciting books I've read in a while. It's a page-turning onslaught of action, suspense, and the supernatural. Ruby's humor steals the show, and the dialog between characters keeps the reader engaged the entire time. I found it impossible to put down. If you're a fan of urban fantasy and paranormal romance, then this is the book for you.

    Great read!

    This book was a page-turner! The author really knows how to hook the reader in, and gives enough detail to keep you hooked while at the same time letting you feel Ruby's confusion and frustration. Ruby is a great character, with completely understandable flaws that still leave you wanting to shake her sometimes. The payoff is completely satisfying but still leaves you begging for the next installment... and I for one can't wait!

    This book made me feel like a crack addict...

    Umm, I don't want to give anything away, besides the fact that I am now negotiating with the author for the ability to read the next book early. No other book, and this is coming from an avid reader, has made me want to chase down the author and annoy them until they allow me to read the rest. This is a great series and is highly recommended, for all ages 12+ (this is coming from a 13 year old)....

    Highly Recommend- you must check it out!

    I loved this book. Once you start reading it you can't put it down. Can't wait for the next book to come out to read more of Ruby's adventures. Would highly recommend this book.

    Caged is one of those books that will grab a hold of you, get under your skin and become one with you. Amber Natusch has said that these characters are alive in her head and she has to write to get them to shut up. She says she has no control over them and that they do whatever they want to do. I totally get it. Ruby is something else! She is a force to be reckoned with!! She is a no-holds barred, female firecracker with no filter on her mouth. I. LOVE. HER. If I could be her, I totally would - fangs and all! But, I'm getting ahead of myself.

    Ruby is the main character. This story is about her life. The book starts out with her waking up and being able to see after 28 years blind. She is special but you don't know just how special until she allows you to know it. That's how much of bad ass she is. Anyway, she meets Sean, a mysterious man who she just keeps running into or who keeps coming to her aid when she needs it. He holds the key to her secret and quite possibly to her heart.

    I am not going to write anymore about her secret or her story. You can get mad at me all you want, but READ THE BOOK! You will see why I cannot explain to you any further about what is going on in this story. And, I'm going to go ahead and say it: "You are welcome!"

    Excellant & exciting

    It was hard to figure out what Ruby's circumstance was but as the story went on, it got intense and full of action. Once you start reading you just have to finish it.

    Phenomenal

    This book was surprisingly great. Werewolf books are usually all similar but this book had a great new take. I am hooked. I'm anxiously anticipating the next installment!!!!

    Keeps you turning pages when you should stop and go to sleep!

    I normally don't even like werewolf stories but am now eager for the release of the next book.
