Overview

When Talia runs away from the only life she’s ever known, she could have never fathomed the lengths to which the Agency will go to get her back. But if the Agency Director- the man who raised her, trained her, and made Talia who she is- can’t have her, he wants her eliminated. Now those she once considered friends are bona fide enemies, ruthless in their pursuit of her.

Talia aligns herself with Ian Crane, the man she’d always believed was responsible for her parents’ murders. With Crane’s forces at her disposal, Talia sets off on her most personal mission yet: rescuing the love of her life from the Agency. But she never imagines that going after him will plunge the nation into chaos.

Retribution for the lives of her parents is no longer enough for Talia. She wants justice for every innocent affected by the Agency’s greed. But she soon realizes she is actually at the center of two wars- one with them and one with herself.

Talia can no longer trust the one thing that has never failed her. Her Talents are growing stronger by the day and she’s already losing control. Defeating the Agency will save countless lives, but triumph over the manufactured power within her will preserve her sanity.

The Agency will stop at nothing to perpetuate their propaganda- that the Coalition is the enemy.

Crane will do anything to expose the truth- that the Agency has been creating Talents for decades.

Her world, her life, her future with the only person who remains true… the Agency stole everything. Now, Talia will sacrifice the little she has left to reclaim what’s hers.

Best series that I've read in a long time

So i started the first book not really expecting much...next thing i knew i was up til midnight tying to finish it and get to the next one. I fell in love with Talia and Erik. I would go as far as to say that this series is a thousand times better than hunger games. And i love that series too. Thy need to make movies or base a tv show off of this or something. I just wanna read the last one but i cant find it. In a way it is like the hunger games and divergent... corrupt government, strong leader... all of that. But its amazing and soooooo worth it.

The fourth book in the Talented series is a riveting action pack

The fourth book in the Talented series is a riveting action packed adventure. When those she considered friends become enemies, Talia runs away and aligns herself with Ian Crane to rescue the love of her life, only she never imagined that the mission would plunge the nation into chaos. She soon realizes she’s fighting two wars, one with herself, as her talents grow stronger, she’s losing control.
This steady to fast paced plot keeps readers on their toes with lots of suspense, action, and drama. The author describes the scenes and events with well written details that capture the imagination and spine tingling anticipation builds throughout with the escalating danger on several fronts for Talia and her friends. The characters are strong, compelling, easily related to and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.
There is some romance between Talia and Erik as their relationship continues, but this urban fantasy is more about suspense, drama and action, which the reader easily get caught up in. Talia certainly makes a great heroine, she’s confident as well as insecure, questions her powers and what’s happening, loyal to her friends and what she believes in and getting stronger as the story unfolds. She’s not the only character that arouses the reader’s curiosity, there’s lots of characters with spectacular talents and charismatic personalities that draw the reader deeper into the story.
The author has created an intriguing world with endless possibilities and I found this story to be enjoyable and entertaining with lots of twists and turns to keep me guessing. The added spice of the characters not knowing for sure who trust adds some additional spice to the story as well. I have not read the first books in the series and I was completely caught up in the story from the beginning however, I do feel that I would have had a better understanding of the world and how the characters got to this point if I had, so it is my recommendation to read the series in order.

I received this book to give an honest review.
Let me say I love the world that Sophie has created with the Talented Series.
But this book seemed to fall short with what I was expecting.
There was a lot of action and for the most part the action scenes were intense.
But the action towards the middleish to end (yes I know middleish is not a word but it sounds like what I am looking for) seemed to easy! I figured Toxic would give up more of a fight but it slacked for me. Also Talia, seemed so much more different with this story than in the others. I know she gets most of the answers she has been looking for but its like she has let it change her more than it normally would. Through out this series I have always wondered how strong is Talia and in this book we learn she is pretty dang strong. We happen to lose a character in this book, and in a way it breaks your heart. We meet new characters and our old characters develop their powers even more. Makes you kind of scared of them in a way. I hope there is a book five because even though this book did not leave you with a cliffhanger you still feel as though there is more to tell. What is going to happen to Alex, Penny, Talia, and Erik? Will the Coalition win in their battle against Toxic and stop what they are doing for good?

This has got to be one of all time favourite saga’s and I’m so glad the story is going to continue. I’m sure I will never get bored reading about not just Talia and Erik but all of them as each character has its own place in the story. Shocking doesn’t even start to cover some of the twists in this instalment and I literally couldn’t stop turning the pages to see what was going to happen next.

Fantastic!! I <3 this book! Eric and Talia are just so cute together. The story was action packed but still full of enough romance. By the time I was finished with it I still wanted more. This book gets five glittery stars from me and I highly recommend this series!!!

“Created” picks up right where “Hunted” left off. Talia along with the help of Ian plans on rescuing Erik from Toxic director Mr. McDonough better known as Mac. I enjoyed this book just as much as the rest of the books in the series. Secrets are revealed, lives are destroyed and most of all freedom seems to be no longer a choice of free will. Mac is determined to create more and stronger Talents in those he see as worthy. After certain events Talia realizes Mac is beyond saving, after all, you are supposed to love and protect those you love, not take advantage of the power you hold. Everyone life hangs in the balance and Talia needs to realize soon, that when it comes to war anyone can become a casualty but Mac isn’t the only one who has truly betrayed her. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a great read full of action, suspense, betrayal, revenge and love. The books in this series must be read in order but they are definitely worth reading.

**I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.**

I'm surprised myself by how much I have come to love YA books and this series is one in a short list of favorites. I won't say this is my favorite of all of the books in the series and probably because it is a bit busy...there is a lot going on in this book and given where things end, looks like there is a potential for another one.

We pick up with where Hunted left off which is a good thing cause we know Talia needs to get Erik back and of course stop Mac from creating new talents. However, there were some twists I didn't expect with Donovan and Gretchen, and not sure I like how it ended, since I still think there are some unanswered questions and well, I'm surprised that Talia would be ok with not having a hand in making Mac pay for all he has done. She isn't exactly the most mature and frankly, very hot headed and yeah, selfish. On the other hand, Mac is also someone that she feared given he was the only father figure she remembered. I also struggled with how Mac was portrayed at the end too. He is just too arrogant to display fear...

There are times I really like Talia and others where I think she still has a lot of growing up to do, but admit she doesn't lead a charmed life so her behavior is understandable. I know this is told more from Talia's viewpoint, but one of the things I did like about the novella was Erik's point of view. I would have loved more of his point of view...and you do get a little toward the end. I do like that the book touches on other characters, but as I mentioned, leaves me feeling like we still need closure...for example, what happens with Harris, Kenly, Cadence, Henri and Frederick, even Penny and Erik and the others "infected". We get so much, but also too much that seems unresolved. I'm still a huge fan and glad to have gotten an ARC copy to read.

I was given an ARC of this book by the author for an honest review.

The first thing I want to say about the Talented Series is the the author, Sophie Davis, has talent!

I was in love with the story from the first book and I must say I loved Created as much, if not more, then the other books. It was so easy to get caught up in the story as the characters either get you to love them or really hate them.

There are so many twists and surprises in Created that nothing turns out the way you expect it to. Who is really a friend, a spy or an enemy. Who do you trust? Who are the CREATED? What are their Talents? How dangerous are they? Can they be defeated? Can the world be saved from the CREATED?

I don't want the story to end and the way the author ended it there could possibly be another book (I WOULD LOVE THAT!) You need to read all of the books in the series as this is not a stand alone story. Trust me when I say you will fall in love with the Talented series as much as I did!

Imagine a society that is on the brink of war. One side is fat on greed, power and corruption, while the other just wants what's right. Throw some supernatural powers into that mix and you have Created, the fourth book in the Talented Saga. Ms. Davis does a masterful job of making you feel a part of the story. You understand the pain, love and feelings of betrayal. A heart-pounding drama that will keep you glued to your reader and wishing you had a talent or two of your own!

OMG! I loved this book even more than the rest! Okay, maybe not

OMG! I loved this book even more than the rest! Okay, maybe not more than book 1, but it was so FREAKING FANTASTIC!!! We are completely invested by the end of Chapter 1 - finding out a dear friend was involved in the death of her parents, knowing at the end of the countdown she'll be on her way to rescue Erik. This book was full of action, suspense, love, and lots of super talents! It was definitely a nail biter! Every time they would lose track of a friend I thought the worst was going to happen. Part of it broke my heart. I was amazed at the detail and how descriptive the author could be, I could visualize the entire book in my head! I loved the progression of the talents, even though the very idea of someone with that much power is a bit terrifying.
The way the book was left with several open ends leads me to believe there will be a Book 5... but even if the story ends just where it is, that would be okay :)
I was given an ARC of this book by the author for review. There may have been a little begging involved. Maybe. Just a little.
