    What happened to cause the scarring?

    Never understood what terrible incident occurred to cause her scarring. Her history was almost a puzzle. I guess her father was deceased, but she was financial well off. Questions,questions.questions!

    This was such a feel good romance. Just be aware there are descriptions of intimate relations.

    Heartwarming and wonderful

    This book was a definite comfort read for me. I immediately liked Emma, and I felt for Sam and his two sons and daughter. The author brought them all to life and made me care about them. Once I started reading, I didn't want to stop until I found out what was going to happen. I had to meet someone for lunch and even told her how good the book was. When I did finish, it left me with a glow. I'm glad the author has other books out, because I'm going to read all of them.
