Fierce was decent read that featured a hot biker and a starky blonde bombshell. I won’t go and say that this book had the strongest story line but I’d be lying to say that I didn’t enjoy it.

I mean, it was fast, simple, and featured two characters with some sizzling chemistry!

I liked how despite the obvious tattoos, crass language, womanizing, and bad a**ness, Scott was a total sweetheart! After all, what guy would go to such lengths to watch over a 12 year old girl that is not even his own?

I also liked the character of Harlow. She is no pushover and she isn’t annoying like many female leads.

I just wish that the ending in this book wasn’t so rushed and abrupt. I get that it’s a series and each book’s plot builds upon each of the previous books but I just wish that it didn’t end the way it did. What I mean by this is that the story had a going momentum and all of a sudden it was like “THE END”. I was like “okaaaayy.”

I just hope that somewhere down the next book in the series or two, it will show Jason and Harlow getting married and calling CPS on Michelle so that they can get custody over Lisa. They act like her parents anyway!

Anyways, a great and easy read! I hope either Nash or Blade’s story is next!

*An ARC was provided to me by the author for an honest review. Thank you Nina!*

    Hmm

Her books always seem to end abruptly. It' like some stuff, some more stuff, 3 pages of drama, i love you's, bam the end! I read the first, thinking it was a fluke i bought the se ond. It was just as bad really. There is a ton of stuff she could develope with the president, but hasn't even tried in two books. Basically zero development. Sorry to say but it's like she has no passion for the story she is trying to tell.

    more from this reviewer

It's been a while since I have read a book that I actually want

It's been a while since I have read a book that I actually want to post a review on. My 2014 reading year was rather disappointing.  Of the books I read, only a few I truly liked and actually wanted to discuss. My reading list of 2014 included a few biker stories, and I'm not sure that I actually finished any of them.  Yes, they were that  bad. So you can only imagine how pleasantly surprised I was to have enjoyed Fierce.

I'm pretty sure if you gotten to my review, then you have read the synopsis, no need to repeat it here.  All I can say is that Fierce successfully did what other biker books have failed to miserably to attempt.  A story about bikers that weren't a**holes or misogynistic with a leading lady that wasn't a complete idiot tearing off her clothes at the first moment they were alone.

The characters were well rounded, imperfect, without being TSTL or needing a serious kick in the groin.  I liked them, I understood them.  They made mistakes, and apologized for them.  They were what I would expect reasonable human beings to be like.   Scott was a biker with all the rough edges that it implies, with a heart of gold.  I loved him through and through.  Harlow, was an excellent contrast,  she had back bone, wouldn't let him push her around, but also, didn't stupidly defy to just to show she could (or to make the book more suspenseful- I personally hate that plot device).

I liked how the story developed, not to fast not to slow.  I did not guess at where the suspenseful part of the story would lead. Where it led made me want to read more, especially if Blade has his own story.  I like that certain things remained unfinished, such as resolution (one way or another) between Scott and his dad.

Fierce was a definite win-win -- Nina Levine won a new fan, and I found a new biker series to read.

What can I say about Fierce?? Hmmmm.... Nina Levine when you sit

What can I say about Fierce?? Hmmmm.... Nina Levine when you sit down to write a book you go all out dont you??? Your 2nd book & again you didn't disappoint. I read this on the edge of my seat in trance.... reading & not wanting it to end & when it did feeling lost cause it ended so soon (well for me it did, I could of stayed).... Fierce is book 2 in the Storm MC series & it continues from where we left off with Madi & J, but instead focusing more on Scott. What is it with these Alpha Storm MC men that keeps me coming back for more???

I can't wait to see what else Nina comes up with in this series. Keep it up Nina, Storm MC keeps getting better & better.

    4.5 Steamy Stars

    Favorite Quotes:

“This was one complex man. He smiled back, and oh my freaking god, when that dimple popped, I swear my panties almost caught on fire.”

‘“You say that like I should be thankful for your apology; like I should worship at your feet for it.’ I knew I was perhaps being a little snarky but, bloody hell, I’d had enough of men who thought I owed them something just for them being nice to me. From now on, I would be an equal in a relationship or I wouldn’t be in the relationship at all.”
‘If J ever cheated on me, I wouldn’t hesitate to cut his balls off; the jail time would be so worth it.”

    Fierce, Storm MC #2

Love, love, loved "Fierce"... by Nina Levine. The story of Scott and Harlow is definitely another great love story, with lots ot twists, amazing hot sex, and struggles within the Storm MC, and will keep you reading. This is a Stand-alone book in this series, but loved the continuing story within the story, of the Storm M C. Really looking forward to reading the next books in this series.

    Scott Cole: MC Fierce
Scott Cole is sex on legs. Seriously, this man is HOT!
Harlow is so easy to like. We all have that one friend like Harlow - sweet, helpful, heart of gold. You can’t help but love her!
And you can’t help but want these two together!! (Except YOU want to be with him - you know you do!)
Great story line, greater characters (love these biker boys!!). I can’t wait to see what is going to happen next with the MC.

Just when you were getting into the first book of the series, and you start to think...ahhhh, it's not getting any better than this...well...Meet Scott and Harlow! Two completely different worlds colliding into the other. Lives you won't see coming. Another page turner, another hot sexy man with some horse power to play... Can Harlow handle a life she has no knowledge about?

I was given a copy of this book by the author for an honest review.  After reading the first book, Storm, I would have gladly picked up the whole series to read.
Fierce is the story of Madison's brother Scott.  He is pretty high up in the Storm motorcycle club.  He is pretty much the VP and eventually will take over his father's position as the president.
Scott is not an easy man.  He is currently really mad at his father for some things that he found out in Storm and trying to deal with club business that isn't very pretty.  They have some issues with another club that is starting to make things not very easy.
One day Scott decides to show his kindness to a sweet little girl Lisa.  Lisa is living with her mother in Scott's other home, but is not very happy.  Scott will do almost about anything for Lisa, which includes taking care of her cat.  Lisa begs him to take Monty to the vet to get him healed from the fight that he was in.
At the vet, Scott notices a very pretty woman behind the desk.  His body instantly responds to hers, but he holds back because he is trying to help Lisa.  While at the vet, Harlow gets treated badly by another customer and Scott decides to defend her.
Harlow has her own issues.  She is trying to get over from some crappy relationships and help her mom take care of her business.  She is working part time for mom's restaurant to help her pay the bills.
Harlow ends up getting fired from the vet and somehow finds Scott again.
Those two have an instant attraction to each other.  When a Storm man falls, he falls hard.  I can't wait to find out more of Scott and Harlow's relationship.  This book again was full of raw emotions of two people trying to work it together.  Nina Levine describes everything with depth and emotions.  This whole series (so far) has just been amazing.  I am looking forward to starting Blaze which is book 2.5 that continues J and Madison's story...
