The Season One Box Set includes episodes 1-5.
When Nate Edwards left his drug addicted ex and his modeling career, he followed his other passion and opened up Fierce Salon. He's a player in every sense of the word but never steps over the line of professionalism when it comes to his staff. They are the only women off limits to him.

Amy loses her job and her boyfriend on the same morning when her salon shuts down unexpectedly and she catches her boyfriend cyber cheating. When she runs into an old friend working at an upscale salon, Amy’s desperate situation begins to look up.

It takes some convincing, but she lands her dream job and gets to spend her days looking at the most beautiful man she’s ever seen. If only he was willing to break his golden rule and see her as more than just an employee.

Written as a short sitcom, each episode provides glimpses into the different characters at Fierce and the daily drama they face as young, attractive millennials in Menlo Park, California. Each episode creates as many new questions as it answers. Read as they are released or wait for the entire season to be published as one book.

A New Soap Opera in a Surprisingly Unique Format In the great tradition of serial dramas such as Secret Storm, Dark Shadows, Guiding Light, Days of Our Lives. Peyton Place and General Hospital we have a soap opera in novel format. This is Fierce Salon, Season 1; Episodes 1-5. You can get these books in paperback, boxed sets, and in ebooks. Aspen Drake has done a marvelous job with this smexy serial entitled Fierce Salon. Once you start, you won't be able to stop. Excellent charecters and this would make an amazing television serial drama. It may not be a telanovela yet but if any producers start reading this series it may just be oneday. I look forward to more reading and to continuing this excellent series.

3. 1/2. Stars. I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. Ok, so here's the thing.... This is the first serial I've read and I'm not sure how I feel about the style. The story itself was fun and entertaining, with the right amount of angst and romance. It would've been a 4 star for me but the chapters that were narrated by Olivia didn't work for me. I was rushing through them to get back to Amy and Nate. That being said, I'm looking forward to reading the next set in the series, as this ended in a cliffhanger.

Before I started this book, I wondered if I would like the episode style. Once I started reading, I found that I loved it. Each new episode leaves you wanting more. I can't wait to see what happens with everyone, but especially Nate and Amy.

Whether you’re a fan of serials or not, you definitely should give Fierce Salon Wash a chance. I was skeptical at first, from being burned by serials in the past but always optimistic I gave it a chance. The characters are engaging and fun. The novel is well written, the chemistry between the love interests sizzling. The first couple we get to know is Nate and Amy. Amy has one of those Murphy’s law days where everything that can go wrong does. In the end she ends up working for Nate, a former model and salon owner. He’s broody and a manwhore to the core. Their story might be a little clichéd but Drake expertly crafts the tale in a way that it doesn’t feel old or tired. Towards the end, we begin to get to know another couple Olivia and Greg. Olivia also works for Nate is a chain smoking, loud mouth. Greg is her client that she keeps saying no to. And like with Nate and Amy, their chemistry is hot but their story was just starting. Keep in mind this is a serial though and does end in a cliffhanger. I’m looking forward to continuing to read about the gang at the Fierce Salon. It was a fun, easy read. Definitely worth picking up if you need to help you escape the real world for a little while. **ARC received in exchange for an honest review**

Amy and Nate I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Amy's life just went from bad to worse or so it would seem until she finds a help wanted ad for Fierce Salon. Trying to rebound from a failed relationship, Amy can't seem to focus when her new boss Nate is around. Nate Edwards has a strict rule when it comes to dating his employees. He has no intentions of finding a long-term relationship let alone any more than that. So why is Amy different? I really liked the dialogue in this book between the characters. I could almost feel the tension between Amy and Nate. I loved them both even if I wanted to slap them. I look forward to reading the next installment in this series.

read the book in about 3 hours. Nate and Amy are 2 good characters but the book was slow in the beginning. It didn't pick up until half way thru it. I'm not sure if I like reading a book and its a cliff hanger with the other book on hand right there. I can't wait to read the next book.

Great new author find! Was given ARC to review. I will be searching for this authors other books to purchase. Amy is having the worst day ever! Loses her job and boyfriend! Fortunately finds a friend's couch to crash on and lucks into an interview with the smoking' hot owner of Fierce Salon. There is Instant chemistry that they struggle to ignore. Nate, our sexy cosmetologist/salon owner has always avoided personal relationships with his employees but finds himself unexpectly drawn to Amy. We get to meet some other characters along the way that I hope will lead to new story lines in future editions. Great new find. Quick read. Highly recommend!

ARC received in exchange for an honest review. This was a fun, enjoyable read for me and had a unique story line. Nate, the main, male character is not only a hair salon owner but also works as a Cosmetologist as well. You would think that would make it hard for you to see him as a straight, sexy man...but it wasn't. That's impressive of the author. Aspen Drake also did a very good job in making the side characters just as engaging. This ends on a cliffhanger and I have to say, I can't wait to get the next two box sets to find out what happens. Great story!

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Amy is having a bad day. When she went to work, she found out the hair salon she worked for was closed down. When she went home from that, she found her boyfriend cyber-cheating on her. When she leave him, she also becomes homeless. Luckily her friend lets her crash on her couch. She sees a job opening at Fierce Salon, a high-end hair salon. The owner, Nate Edwards, is a hawt ex-model whose a player but a stickler for the rules when it comes to his salon and employees. When he sees Amy though, there's something about her that has him regretting some of his rules. First, I'm not really sure what made me decide to read and review this book. It's not one I'd normally try. However, once I started it, I couldn't stop until I was finished. While it was made up of 5 novellas, it read rather quickly. There's just something about it I really liked. Amy is my favorite character. Even when life is basically kicking her in the face, she moves on and tries to keep a good attitude. Overall she's strong and no pushover who believes in her work. I'm not so sure about Nate, while he treats women like a piece of meat until Amy, I couldn't help feel sorry for him and the way his parents treat him much in the same manner. I like seeing his feelings for Amy start to break his patterns and rules. Overall I just really liked this story and look forward to reading the next segment. There was no real conflicts, but the plot kept moving so there didn't really need to be as we got to learn the characters. I would highly recommend it.
