** spoiler alert ** Warning... mild spoilers ahead FUSED picks up immediately after the end of the last book, SHATTERED. Remember? Simon's voice? The concert that probably should not have been? If you didn't read SHATTERED yet, you should read it before FUSED. As usual, Cari and Taryn dig deep into their characters, exposing Anyway, Nick and Lila have their challenges. Nick may act like a petulant child, but all he needs is a little help. Lila runs hot and cold, though she has reason to be a bit of a wreck -- namely her jerk of a soon-to-be-ex husband. The two are perfect for each other, in that they can heal one another as they grow together as a couple. Sure there are trust issues, but there is also love, and love conquers all. Cari and Taryn leave us with another cliff hanger, though with only one story left in the series (#cry) the wrap up can only answer the outstanding questions in their usual fantastic way: Did Lila's husband really sign the divorce papers? Did Simon really just walk away from the band? Can Nick be what Lila needs? Knowing the authors' work, I'm sure I know the answers, but I can't wait to read for myself! OWNED is due out in March, 2016.

There is one more after this one. But the sex is hot in all of them.

Ah what more can I say about the beauty that is any book written about my beloved Lost in Oblivion band members. This is a follow up book about Nick and Lila. It's a pick up after the beginning of their love story with a lot more band drama thrown in. Lila is trying to juggle her feelings for Nick with her PR duties to the band. This book also has a continuation of Simon's voice issues. The end of the book sets up what is to be the final LIO story. I cannot wait to see how things wrap up!

Fused does not disappoint!! Oh how Nick made me fall in love with him. Fused picks up right where Shattered leaves off. Does Nick and Lila find their HEA and does Simon finally recover? This book does end in a cliffhanger as far as the band goes. I can't wait for OWNED to come out! I will never get enough of the misfits that make up Oblivion and their significant others!!!

With Oblivion on the verge of caving in, Nick feels like he's losing everything when both his band and the woman he is in love with leaves him. Nick and Lila have uncontrollable chemistry but with so many things working against them, they need to fight for what they want. Nick has such a rock heard exterior but underneath it lies a man who loves so deeply despite all of his emotionally scarred from his upbringing. He loves his friends, unconditionally even when some of them turns their backs on him. He doesn't give up on his friendship and fights for them. The same goes for his love for Lila he will not give up on her no matter what it takes. Lila's problems continue to get in the way but as the book moves, there seems to be some light at the end of this tunnel. Their love for one another is the plaster that will bind them together.

4.25 stars---FUSED is #4.5 and second to last installment in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s contemporary, adult LOST IN OBLIVION erotic, romance series focusing on the member of the rock band OBLIVION. FUSED picks up immediately following the events of SHATTERED, and crosses over into the Christmas novella GIFTED. NOTE: If you have not read the previous SHATTERED, my review may contain some spoilers. Told from dual third person perspectives (Nick and Lila) FUSED is the continuing story of Nick and Lila’s relationship, and the beginning of the end for the band OBLIVION. Lead singer Simon Kagan continues to have issues with his voice, and he targets his best friend Nick Crandall following Simon’s latest melt down on stage that saw Simon storm out and Nick taking the brunt of Simon’s emotional tirade. What ensues are Lila’s attempts to keep the band together while setting up the possibility of a new band on the horizon. The relationship between Nick and Lila continues to be tempestuous. Nick is a man in love with a woman whose secrets and personal life keep falling off the rails. Lila is determined to prove that she is capable of keeping her public and private life separate but pushing Nick away is the hardest thing she will ever have to do. All of the members of OBLIVION play secondary and supporting roles. While Simon continues to wallow is self doubt and the blame game, the remaining members of the band decide it may be time to think about a different kind of future-without the band. FUSED is an emotional story line where lifelong friendships are threatened by jealousy, insecurity, and the mental and physical health of Oblivion’s leading singer. The premise is revealing and intense; the characters are passionate, tormented and heartbreaking; the romance is provocative and seductive. FUSED is a free fall of emotions for both the reader and the characters we love.

This is the next book in the Lost in Oblivion series and picks up where Shattered left off. The story continues with the band Oblivion and the problems Simon is dealing with, plus the relationship between Nick Crandall and Lila Shawcross. I really enjoyed his book and look forward to the next installment in this series.

4.5 stars Fused continues the story arc of Lila Shawcross and Nick Crandall which began in Shattered, the previous book in the series. Things between Nick and Lila aren't doing so well, with Nick dealing with Simon's latest meltdown on stage and Lila dealing with compromising pictures that could potentially muck up her divorce proceedings. Lila has told Nick that she can't see him anymore. He's possibly losing her and his band. There's a great scene between Margo and Nick that is just perfection, as they talk about the situation with Simon. It's clear that there are some deep feelings between and among these characters in spite of the turmoil, and I loved that about this series. Nick is no perfect guy. He's rough, mouthy and not afraid to say what he thinks, especially when it comes to the band. Now that the band is in jeopardy, it exposes his loneliness. Lila's a straight shooter too with a lot more diplomacy, but she's constantly on guard because of her soon-to-be-ex and her desire to succeed. It's the common bond of loneliness that connects these two together, which makes it all that more satisfying when they finally face the truth about the depth of their feelings for each other. It's been great to follow Nick and Lila's story, as they are an unlikely-on-the-surface couple. Fused uncovers more about makes them tick and why they are attracted to each other. Of course, there's plenty of sex as is the norm in this series, but there's more to this couple than just that. The "L" word starts getting tossed around quite a bit, as Nick deals with Lila's latest rejection. Some new secondary characters in this rock and roll world get introduced in Fused. There are a few from the recently released Hammered series and I hope to hear more about them, especially with Lila's stepson and Molly, Jazz's sister. There are plenty of rock star romances out there, but this is one series that grabs my attention with each new release. Nick and Lila's story is just awesome and Fused left me satisfied with a happy-for-now ending that made me smile. I want to go back and re-read the rest of the titles again. I think that's a great compliment to give any series. If you like romances with a rock and roll theme, I highly recommend this one. I've enjoyed every minute of this series and I'm thrilled that there will be one more installment to let us know how all the band drama gets resolved.

Fused is the sequel to Shattered, the focus of whom is on Nick, lead guitarist for the rock band Oblivion and his relationship with the bands PR manager Lila. It's best read not as a standalone, as it continues from where Shattered left off (on a cliffhanger of sorts), and also deals with the continuing story arc for the series. I really enjoyed seeing Nick and Lila finally getting to the point where they realize that they are it for each other. The first part of their story, Shattered, was one of my favourite books of 2015 for its portrayal of Nick's character, and the realization of how much more there is to him than what is on the surface. In this story, we continue with that character depth and the inherent rightness of Nick and Lila's relationship. I loved seeing the two of them be able to express their feelings about each other. Of course there are some sexy scenes (no story in the series is without them) and we get lots of cameos of the other members of the group (which is why it helps to have read the previous stories to date). While the story ends with a 'happy for now' conclusion for Nick and Lila, the band's future is still up in the air, and will be addressed in a final book in the series. There were also some other characters that will clearly lead into spinoff series, and I'm looking forward to those! 4 stars.

I love this series. Can't wait for the next book. I'll hate to see the end of the series but will be happy as long as everyone gets their happy ending, including the band itself.

Brilliant, sexy, funny and completely consuming. The Oblivion series is like nothing I have read before. Each band member has their own story but at the same time all the band members stories continue in each others books. A family of Rockstars! It's like the story just keeps unfolding. I love it. Epic. Fused is Nick and Lila's story. They continue to push each other and have a rocky road on their journey but they keep finding their way back to one another. I especially like the change of POV throughout the book. Reading both sides of the story just sucks you in deeper and brings all the emotions the characters are feeling to the surface. Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot know how to bring Rockstars to their readers. All the arrogance, cockiness and panting melting sexiness entangled in a roller coaster of emotions with happy lifts, stomach dropping pain and spins that shoot you right over the romance ledge. I'm always waiting for their next book!

Absolutely awesome This was actually one of my favorite books of the series, even though Simon is one of my favorite characters. But to see how much Nick is going through and you get to see he is going through a lot with the band, his family and with Lila. he feels like he is alone and he is looking for someone to be there for him, he does get some help with Jazz and Grey which is nice and even Margo. This series is great because you always have the band that is there and you always get to hear about them. Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot out did their selves this time if that's possible. Now I have to wait the final book.

What just happened?? Is it my imagination or was this book not advertised as the last one in the series?? Not that I'm not happy another book is coming out but I just wish I could see what will happen with the band, Nick and Simon.
