I have been looking forward for drakes book and I can honestly say that Caitlyn did not disappoint. I loved watching Drake get a little of his attitude handed back to him. It was so amusing. I loved how Karen helped him through all he was going through. I like that we got to see Drakes background and why he was the way that he was. Great job Caitlyn can't wait to see what you have for us next.

Her Dominant SEAL is book 9 in the Midnight Delta Series about a group of SEALs who work together dealing with the bad guys and find themselves in love along the way. Our lucky SEAL in this book? Drake Avery. He finds himself returning to a place he thought he’d never go back to when his little sister calls him frantically in the middle of the night. Home. It seems his good-for-nothing father has gotten out of prison and set his sights on his 16 year-old sister. So Drake decides to go home to protect her along with his other sisters. His father and uncle have a plot going on that may have something to do with the drugs filtering through town, and his sister Piper has something to do with it, as well as her teacher. Drake pulls Karen in for his protection, and finds himself falling for her along the way. But that just gives his father and the gang more ammo to use against him. Nothing like a little help from your friends. As usual with one of Caitlyn’s books, I couldn’t put this one down. Of course, the title had me hooked from the start. (After all, I am a knotty girl!) And while I wish he’d been a lot more dominant, I loved Drake. He was especially wonderful with his sisters, and his interactions with headstrong sister Evie were a blast to read. And I believe I smell a book coming with Aiden and Evie. I’m skipping some in this series because I’ve only recently started it, but for me it’s actually exciting because I truly love Caitlyn’s books so much!

Medal Winning Brother, and oh yeah, SEAL. Drake had just returned from a mission and was resting up like the rest of his team when he got the phone call. A soft female voice he almost didn't recognize, Piper, his youngest of six sisters. He didn't know what it was but he was up and grabbing his bag as they spoke. It had been too many years since he'd been back. They were in trouble and the people causing it didn't know trouble but they were about to. The little town was not his favorite place. He'd left and joined the Navy. The other option wasn't acceptable. He expected to be treated like an exile. There were surprises in store for him. One, a little package of dynamite in charge of a room full of five-year-olds. Watching Karen handle the big bad SEAL as easily as she handled those kids was not only hysterical but when his guys show up to help out, they loved it too--at least until she took them to task as well. Then there was the tiny little niece, the one who was likely to become a millionaire, she had him from, “Unka Dwake?” Drake and Aiden, and eventually some more of the team, had a lot to deal with but they were SEALs. When the enemy couldn't get at his sisters, they went for the woman who had him thinking things he swore would never be in his life he had to remember he wasn't on a sanctioned mission, and holding back from lethal retribution was difficult. With his team and family around him, Drake finds a whole new mission in life. From my first Caitlyn O'Leary book, I knew she would become a favorite author for me. Strong female characters with a soft side that is sometimes a puzzle for the strong, alpha heroes, storylines that are all new, exciting and passionate. I only ask one thing, please don't ask me to pick my favorite O'Leary book because they are all my favorites.

*** I voluntarily reviewed this book, I gained no monetary incentives nor was I specifically requested to review the book, these are my honest ramblings and I hope you enjoy reading them - kat*** I have read 2 of the other books in this series, and not in any type of order, so if you start with this and want to read more in the series you can and not find it an issue. Navy SEAL Drake Avery has an old fashioned view of protecting women, his southern roots and ways have had the women who are the partners of the Midnight Delta team rolling their eyes, sometimes but they know without a doubt that he would protect them with his life. Drakes sisters are in danger and it's time to face the demons of his past once and for all. (His childhood was horrendous) The relationship between Drake and his sisters is a powerful one, he's watched them from afar for 12 long years, it's time to face the demon's who gave him no choice but to leave 12 years ago, he was one person now, but now he's got backup... He thinks he will be alone in that fight, he has been lying about his past for so long, but when he calls the team when he needs backup, he finds out that his secrets were not so hidden, and they are there to watch his back before he knows it. While protecting his Sisters, Drake meets kindergarten teacher named Karen Eastman, he realises it's the wrong time for cupid to strike his bow, but at least he was a sensible man and did not ignore it. Yes, he was overbearing to her at times, but Karen had enough 'Teacher backbone' to turn our Dashing SEAL into a naughty schoolboy when needed. And there were some laugh out loud moments when their personalities butted heads. I read this book in one day, it held my attention and my chores were ignored till I finished! Drake was a strong character that has gone through hell and back and never lost focus, his sisters were a priority even when he couldn't see them in person. I liked his character in the other books too, but after reading his story he is well and truly on my Book Boyfriends top 10 list Caitlyn O'Leary has gotten me addicted to her SEAL's and I will be reading more of this series soon.

When you read a Midnight Delta story, you’re guaranteed a fast paced, intensely gripping plot, that’s jam-packed with suspense, action and romance. Spine tingling expectation and excitement builds throughout this story, and keeps readers on the edge of their seat till the last page is turned. Each scene is written in such vivid detail, that the images practically jump off the pages and the energy and emotions of the characters are felt deep within your soul. Ms O’Leary has once again demonstrated her ever-growing talent with HER DOMINANT SEAL, as this is a story filled with long kept secrets, unexpected twists and surprises, and coordinated events that ensure there is never a dull moment throughout the entire book. While we all have our favourite characters, there’s no denying this series has continued to get better and better with every story written, and has kept me coming back with the promise of a one-sitting read that I know I won’t put down till the very end.
