What a riveting page turning read. I loved Sasha's character; [she] is so believable. This mystery thriller is one of the best books I have read for 2011.

    Awesome Book!!!!

Irreparable Harm by Melissa F. Miller is a fast paced riveting
page-turner! I couldn't put it down and it consumed my entire weekend until I finished the very last page! The storyline is believable and full of suspense! I fell in love with the characters and am hoping she brings them back in another story. Melissa F. Miller has incredible talent as a writer and her knowledge of the legal system is very thorough. I am really looking forward to her next book.

    Surprising

As a lawyer myself I am seldom impressed with books about attorneys who solve crimes because the legal details of the storylines are usually distractingly inaccurate. This book, on the other hand, sets out a plot which, while imaginative and interesting, did not resort to depicting court rooms and law firms in unlikely or outrightly impossibje situations. I hope the next books are as good.

    This book had it all...

An exciting plot, a tiny but fierce heroine, and only a bit of a love story. Some books are easy to set aside and forget, but I read this one with gusto.

    Has really high ratings

This 300 page, free, legal mystery was pretty good. There was an awful lot of legal jargon, in the preparation of filing paperwork, in the court room, and with clients. I found this to be rather boring and for me, it did not add anything to the storyline. So after the first few countless descriptions of lawyer talk about something I did not understand, I skipped over the rest, which made the book much more enjoyable for me. The editing was nicely done. There is quite a lot of violence and murder, but none extremely descriptive. Sex is implied, but not described. No cursing, no religion. A few bits of humor. A strong, interesting plot. I was left wondering what ever happened to Mrs. C.. If this book had less technical details, I would have have given it a five star rating. I enjoyed the plot. It was ALMOST John Grisham good. For all legal mystery lovers, ages 18 and up.

    Fantastic book!!

Really enjoyed this book! Exciting plot, interesting and likable characters, hated to put this book down long enough to get some sleep! Just purchased book 2 in the Sasha series and can hardly wait to begin reading it. Unfortunately, housework on a Saturday afternoon is calling me so sitting down to book 2 with a glass of iced tea on a warm summer evening will be my reward for cleaning my house!! Get the book- you will be glad you did!!!

    Fair

Book was fair, plot was dry at times and it was a struggle to get thru. Sasha was a little unbelievable as a lawyer/ heroine.

    A good free read

I really liked this book. Lots of action with a heroine to be reckoned with both physically and mentally. And of course, a love story thrown in for good measure. I would recommend this bok even if it weren't free.

    Legal thriller delivers the goods

Can't put it down legal thriller mixes big firm politics with mystery as Sasha wrestles with ethical dilemas while trying to determine who and what brought down the commercial airliner that crashed. A great MCLE discussion assignment for lawyers, but just plain fun for everyone. Makes me want to read more by this author.

Perry Mason, Sam Spade, and Bruce Lee rolled into one petite Law

Perry Mason, Sam Spade, and Bruce Lee rolled into one petite Lawyer named Sasha. What a nail biting cliffhanging thriller. Ms Miller, Esq. writes what she knows about and, she does it with believable characters, well developed plot and an ability to make the reader forget everything except the tale unwinding. This one is a winner!

    Enjoyable read

Well-written interesting story. The main characters were likable, and the bad guys were, well, bad guys. The surprise near the end was not too obvious, and actually made sense when I looked back over the book. There was a little crude language which I prefer not to read.

    Good plot, flat characters

The plot was well paced and engaging, but the characters, including the heroine, all seem like caricatures. Once the plot was resolved, I didn't care about what happened to the characters afterwards.

    Legal Mystery

Sasha McCandless is a corporate lawyer, whose client’s plane just slammed into a mountain, killing everyone aboard. Was the plane crash an accident or was it murder. Sasha teams with a federal air marshal assigned to investigate the crash. I was captivated after the first chapter. Good, suspenseful read with strong, believable central characters. I was thoroughly entertained and will definitely read the other books in this series.

    Two thumbs up

Plot and details well thought out. Characterizations believable. Superfluous information kept to a minimum. Jargon spot on. Started out smartly and stayed that way to the end. Quick enjoyable read.
