“Kept from You” is a STANDALONE Contemporary Romance from the New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Nashoda Rose.

A first kiss that changed everything.

Killian Kane.
He was the most feared guy in high-school.
Guarded. Angry. A fighter.
But when I caught him watching me with his captivating green eyes I saw something more. Something protective and kind.

He warned me to stay away from him.
I did.
Until I didn’t and he kissed me. A knee weakening, body tingling kiss that left me breathless. And scared the hell out of me.
And then…
He warned me never to come near him again or next time he wouldn’t let me go.

That was eleven years ago.
We aren't teenagers anymore. He has probably forgotten me. He’s a famous rock star now. I’m a dance instructor with a broken dream and desperate for a job.
So, when we cross paths again I don't expect him to remember me.
He does.
And his warning eleven years ago? I'm about to find out exactly what that meant.

Nashoda Rose is becoming one of my favorite authors. The strength that her characters have and the journey takes you on is breathtaking. Every one of her books I have loved, they are not for the faint of heart, but they are a journey of love, bravery, overcoming things that happen that are not the pretty, but you will grow in her books through the characters. Family is not the blood you share, it's the love for each other.

Kept from You, Tear Asunde, Book 4, Nashoda Rose Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews Genre:  romance, I’ve loved this series so far, and this latest keeps up the drama and excitement. When I read the first book Nashoda was an author new to me, and I really wasn’t sure I’d like her style, that first one was pretty dark. The excitement though, the edge of seat drama, the so-real romance and the way she turns everything around, pulled me through and sucked me in to the rest of the novels. I don’t mind an edge of darkness, so long as there’s a solid and real feeling romance with it. This one is probably the least “dark” though its still got that undercurrent of violence running though. It was great too to catch up with the rest of the band and families, to see how they’ve changed over the years. Killian was a terrific lead, I adored him. His feelings for Saavy(Orchid as he calls her) are incredibly intense, but not in that overdone macho way so many reads have. I could just feel how he struggled with his feelings, with his need to protect her, against letting her have her freedom to do what she wanted, find her way, and his background was heart breaking. Saavy, loved her. Fiercely independent, one of those rare people who see good in others, who will stand up against bullies even though she’s scared. Now after eleven years she’s put herself back in Killian’s orbit, she needs a favour from him. She’s been let down by her boss/lover and is now jobless, moneyless and soon to be homeless, she needs the dancing job she’s after, but to get a chance she needs Killian’s intro to the owner. She thinks a quick recommendation if she’s lucky, after all, though she’s nervous she really is at the bottom and got nothing to lose only her pride. Killian’s never forgotten her and now she’s back in front of him he can’t let go. Wow, the feelings and emotions between these two, the contrast of such contained violence and the gentle man he is with Saavy is amazing. I loved them, loved the story, the little sub plots running through that slowly joined up, and all made sense as they connected. The band stuff is there in the background but its not one of those guys on tour reads, more a book about characters that are in a band together. Its another wonderful read, and just taking a look at what else Nashoda has written I’ve seen the Unyielding series. That starts with Deck and Georgie, important secondary characters that appear throughout the novels, and whom I’ve always wondered about. There’s something about their on but not quite on relationship that is so intriguing, and throughout the books I’ve always wondered just what their story is. So now when the time allows I’m up for reading their story too Stars: Five, another fabulous read featuring the band. ARC supplied for review purposes by Netgalley and Publishers

Nashoda Rose has done it again! She has given her readers a story so beautiful, so heart-wrenching, so perfect that there are just not enough words to do it justice!!! I adored Killian and Savvy’s story. As with every single book I read by Nashoda Rose, I immediately fell in love with the characters. Savvy is son easy to love because, even with what life has thrown at her, she always sees the good in people (most anyway). And Killian… So fractured when we first meet him, then later, when we learn what helped him turn his life around, OH MY!!! As I said, I don’t have the words to do justice to this story, but I loved it SO VERY MUCH!!!!! And the best thing ever is that there is more to come in the series!!!! CAN NOT WAIT!!!!!

Nashoda Rose is one of my favorite authors and each new book just keeps getting better and better. Kept from You just might be her best one yet and that's really saying something!! She definitely has a way with words! This one has all the feels and I really loved that I was able to experience what the characters felt as their story played out. Killian and Savvy are amazing characters, individually and together. Savvy is kind and loving with a stubborn streak and Killian is intense and protective. Savvy believes that there is good in everyone...everyone has "good bits" and their personalities made it impossible to not fall in love with them! I really liked the way Nash introduced us to their story, as an extended prologue that gave us just the perfect amount of history. Killian is a guarded, angry teenager and while he admires Savvy, he doesn't feel that he's worthy of her. Fast forward eleven years and Savvy is in desperate need of a job. She decides her only option is to take a chance and ask Killian for a favor...but he has his own agenda...he wants Savvy and what Killian wants, Killian gets! Theirs is a beautiful story that will make you cry and warm your heart and the chemistry between these two is amazing! And that restaurant scene? Hell, the whole chapter...Holy crapt that was HOT!!!! I can't wait to see what comes next!

This time it’s Kite’s story from the band Tear Asunder and it left me emotionally exhausted. Killian was the school’s bad boy but was always there trying to help the underdog. He also had his eyes on a pretty red headed dancer who kept to herself quite a bit. They would share looks but neither approached the other; Savvy because she was afraid of this tough guy and Killian because he figured he was bad news for her. They shared one kiss before Savvy was off to various foster homes which was one kiss she never forgot. As they lost touch and the years went on Savvy became a dance instructor and Kite made it big time as the drummer for the band Tear Asunder. Savvy was getting desperate; she needed a job and bad. She had just left her cheating boyfriend who happened to be her boss as well. So there went her job and her home which gave her no choice but to try to get back stage at a Tear Asunder concert to see if Kite would even remember her and if he did would he put a good word in for her to land a good paying job as a dancer at one of his friend’s dance clubs. Just like old times their eyes found each other after 11 years and that spark was still there. Imagine Savvy’s surprise when Kite told Savvy that there wasn’t any way he would help her land this job. He didn’t tell her but no way had he wanted her dancing in some cage at a club with men learning at her. Their journey was one of finding a way back to each other and this time acting on the feelings they each had. This couple had a lot of obstacles in their way and you were kept wondering just what would it take for them to have their HEA. The heartache they both had from the families which they came from tainted them and the possibility of true love finding a way to the forefront. I have become a huge fan of Nashoda Rose and this series and I haven’t been let down yet. She takes you to some dark places but there is always that hope that keeps you locked in the world she created with the guys from Tear Asunder. I received this book as an ARC for a freely give honest review.
