The world I just signed on for is crumbling as I stand on its threshold. Everything is changing and it seems like this is all my fault.
I just love this book and everything in it. From cover to cover it is packed with romance, suspense, and a lot of action. It’s sad, it’s funny, it’s everything you could want in a book. Not to mention Misty is one flippin’ fantastic storyteller. She writes well and it shows in her work. Plus every now and then you get a glimpse into who Misty is as a person through her work. When you read a funny part in her book…that is the real Misty. She is silly and crazy and it shows in her books.
When starting the book, I was bombarded with so much emotion. It has been nearly a year since I read Cornerstone, and I am embarrassed to say I forgot a few things that happened at the end. So yeah it is a little overwhelming to be reminded of everything that went down. And everyone involved had no time to mourn those that they lost. It was definitely a sad beginning for an awesome book.
I wholeheartedly love these characters and so was so glad to be able to revisit with them again. I missed them, I really did. Especially Garrett. Oh my sweet Garrett, he was even better in this one. Misty also gave us some new characters to love and hate. Take for instance Zane, he was a complete hoot and you can’t help but love him. The things that come out of that skinny boy’s mouth had me rolling the whole time, even in the most stressful of times. Then take for instance his twin sister Zaneen, yup didn’t care much for her. I wanted to like her and at times I did. But I am just not 100% sure about her yet.
Keystone is not your normal everyday supernatural/paranormal. I mean I am not even sure I could classify it as one of those. But it is different and refreshing to read compared to a lot of the other stuff out there. What do you get when you buy Keystone? Well you get an excellent read that is action packed and fast paced. Does it have romance? Absolutely…even though I found it is not the main focus of the story. But it has enough to keep your heart happy. Does it have a cliffhanger? Well yeah…but it is a good one. I know I was beaming with happiness when all was said and done. So don’t delay…go get it today!!
One of my fav quotes about Garrett: Garrett’s kiss has never been any less than amazing, but this kiss is even more. This kiss is the sun, opening inside me.
Le sigh

I really didn't know what to expect with this series. Misty asked me to join the blog tour so I did what I always do...I looked to see if any of my friends had read it that have the same tastes as me and a few had and they loved it so I decided what the heck? I'll try it! Well guess what?! I LOVE IT TOO!!!! Actually I think EVERYONE should just drop what they are reading and go get it and open it and then you will get the AWESOMENESS because you can tell from the first few pages! Can you tell yet that I love this book?
Nalena is awesome! I love her! She kicks butt and she doesn't even know it! I'm waiting for her to figure out how much she kicks butt! After she has figured out what she is, she embraces it and holds onto that Cornerstone! With all things against her she still fights through to find The Key.
Garrett is my new book boyfriend. I wish he could be my Vieo! In Keystone you get the same Garrett as you had in Cornerstone but even better because there feelings for each other are out in the open completely and it's so sweet. My favorite thing about Garrett is that he is protective but he supports Nalena in her death mission. He lets her do what he knows she has to and instead of fighting her on it, he is by her side which is exactly what Nalena needs! They are the perfect match so says their tea leaves :) (another thing you have to get once you read the book!)
Another thing I loved about Keystone is you get a lot of awesome, developed supporting characters. I fell in love with Zane, Robbin, Deeta, Zaneen, Sean, Addo, Nok, and Iris in this book! It's not just about Nalena and the Reeses anymore. The interaction between this group of people made the book even better. It wasn't all completely centered around Nalena and Garrett which makes the story so much better because the Cusp isn't just effecting Nalena and Garrett. It is effecting everyone and with all these characters coming together you get to see that. There are also more interactions and relationships that form with the supporting characters the deepen the story.
All around I think this book...this series deserves more than 5 stars but 5 stars is all I got. Everything about it had me flipping the pages like crazy and now that I'm done I'm dying for more! I just will never be able to get enough! This is a read I recommend to anyone and everyone because I think you can find something that you will love about it!

Um...I need a Garrett on my shelf asap! And Nelina! She is best friend material!
This book was hilarious!! I've never laughed so much and thought, "How the heck is Misty so witty?"
Let me give you a couple reference lines:
"He's dressed in all black, but his hair is a shocking white-blond. And he's humping the glass."
"Princess growls like an overstuffed vacuum cleaner caught on a rug."
See? Hilarious! :)
And also swoon. Mega swoon. Example.
"There was a whole world of air, but without you there, I couldn't breathe any of it."
You could tell, or I could, that Misty worked hard on this book. The details, the characters, the thought process. It was crazy and I loved it! It never dragged or got hung on gibberish. There was one point in the book where literally, I jumped off my couch. I've NEVER done that reading a book before, but I was so invested and scared and just in the moment that I did, in front of everyone, but it didn't matter. I just sat back down and started reading again.
So I'm done trying to get you to read this! :) Go read my review for the first and then buy them both! Love this series!! Can't wait to get my grubby hands on the paperbacks!

Overview
There’s a man-made storm coming, like a rip in the world, and it’s called the Cusp.
Struggling to fit into the destiny she’s accepted, Nalena Maxwell has been left with one objective: she must find her murdered grandfather’s Memory. Stolen and hidden away by her own ...
