Thank You Kitty for an amazing ending to a beautiful story. I can't say enough how much I loved this series. The characters Lucien & Sophie were so awesome. Lucien started out in Knight & Play as a total ass. But he definitely eventually grows on you. And becomes a beautiful, warm loving man and as always an eceptionally hot sexy Viking of a man. Lol. What the hell is with Sophie's nickname for Lucien( the viking sex god? ) I laughed my ass off over that one. I recommend this series to everyone. This story has everything you need. Hot sex with a gorgeous man, laughter, lots of tears, happiness and sadness, anger, love and friendship. Any even some mystery and suspence. So you should definitely read this series because you won'be sorry.

It was an OK read, but I got tired of the heroine's mood swings. She cheated on her husband, got depressed after confronting him and separating, then from one day to another decides to go back to sex-land with Lucien. And this is just the first couple of chapters. It goes on for half of the book. When her feelings finally settle, it is him who turns into an emotional mess. And the end was quite predictable. You do get a HEA, although there is a third book. Unfortunately, I already bought it. Otherwise, I would not have bought it.

I have read this entire trilogy and it was great!! Be sure to buy all three books at once!! It was a pretty quick read, I finished the series in four days, but don't let the fact that it is such a quick read take away from the fact that these books are excellent. Be aware these books are for a "mature" audience! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Knight & Stay book 2:
5 stars all the way!
Before we get to the good stuff we all want to get to I have to warn you...this is a hot read definitely an 18+ read. Due to strong language and sexual content. Now to the good stuff.....
We met Sophie and Lucien in book one and their story continues in this second book. Sophie has to confront her husband about his affair and admit to what she has done with Lucien. Well Lucien feels that Sophie may need him when she confronts her husband and tempers fly in the beginning. Sophie has to learn how to adjust to her new life without her husband and figure out what she's going to do for a job because she can't go back to working for Lucien.
Sophie goes back to her old job, but that turns into a very bad decision when her boss tries to get her to pay him for letting her come back to work for him, and it's not money he wants. Sophie walks out and goes back to Lucien for her job. Coming up with some rules that neither of them want. Then a trip to Paris changes everything. Passion ignites between the two of them and all bets are off.
After Paris they get home and continue their affair till Sophie's husband comes back to their house begging for another chance and forgiveness. Sophie stands strong and tells him no, not just because she can't trust him, but because of Lucien.
Lucien can't handle where things are going with Sophie so he calls a halt to their affair and fires her. But when Lucien faces one of the hardest things he's had to face, Sophie runs to his side to be there for him even after he hurt her. Sophie helps him in ways he never expected, and he finally gets some closure on his past. Will Lucien be able to love Sophie the way he should? Will they be able to move past the hurts to come together? Well you will have to read to find out!
This is the second book of this series. I loved this book just as much as I did the first one. The story line is fantastic and keeps you enthralled the entire time. At times your cheering and at others your cursing the characters. This book is just as well written as the first, and once again I have nothing bad to say! I can bet that you won't be disappointed either!

about 460 pages. the sequel to knight and play. this was a different spin on the rich, gorgeous alpha male/mouthy irreverent female. i liked that they did not immediately fall in love--made it more entertaining. too bad there's no third book--is there? Was this review helpful?
