Would have given 5 stars but I thought it was way too long and I ended up skimming through some parts. Thought "Dr. Yummy" actually bordered on creepy at times.

Wow rollercoaster of emotions going on. I felt so bad for Kayle losing a husband the love of your life then to be pregnant on top of that just heartbreaking. Dr Yummy only in books is all I can say lol. Loved the whole wedding scene could so pic all of it. The playlist for this book is pretty awsome

5 emotionally charged, snot dripping, ugly crying stars for me on this one!!! OMG it takes a lot for me to cry my eyes out but LL Collins succeeded in making me cry from the first page through the first several chapters…seriously my husband and kids were looking at me like I needed to be admitted and my poor dogs were crowded at my feet and stressed out because momma was crying.  Poor Kayley's life is ripped apart by the accident that tears her husband from her shortly before the birth of their first child. Loosing her best friend and soul mate just a few short years into their marriage nearly destroys her. Though she has a fantastic support system she lives only for her daughter and being all that she needs for her. When tragedy nearly strikes a second time it thankfully has a much better outcome and she meets Ben (aka Dr. Yummy) who works very hard to show her how much she needs to start living again not only for herself but for her daughter as well.  Ben…OMFG…holy hotness!!! He had me from the start…minus his asshat moment (where he so gets what he deserves back in full)… I totally and completely fell in love with him! I don't want to give anything away so I will close with GO BUY THIS FREAKING BOOK if you haven't already and if you have it READ IT!!! LL Collins had me on a flipping emotional roller coaster crying ugly-ass, snot-dripping, hyperventilating tears on this one while also wanting to slap some sense into the characters and laughing hysterically…and of course then there are the hot as hell sex scenes with Dr. Yummy! The talent demonstrated in her ability to pull you through each scene while leaving you feeling like you experienced it personally speaks for itself!

4.5 Stars - What an emotional read! Loved it! I just love when an author can write in such a way that I ride the emotions right along with the characters, and L.L. Collins had me riding right along with every emotion that her characters lived through. From Kayley’s heartache, which had me reaching for the tissues, to all the hopes and fears she lived through as she had to learn to live again, I was so caught up in the story it felt like I was living through events right alongside Kayley. I could easily see all of the relationships in the book happening in real life, which I think is one of the things that really made this book work for me. From Emily, Kayley’s best friend, to Kayley’s family, it was easy to relate to every character. Alexis was too cute for words, and she definitely stole the page whenever she was around! Even the perfect “Dr. Yummy” Ben had his flaws and issues he needed to deal with, making the story that much more real. This was a fabulous read and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

What an incredible debut novel! This is a story of loss, love, discovering life goes on when we the one we love is taken, and that love lives on forever! I could barely see at times while reading this book, but I could not put it down. The writing is flawless, the story is well crafted, and the characters leap off the page. I sincerely cannot wait for ‘Reaching Rachael’ (Living Again #2)! Spend some time with Dr. Yummy and see for yourself why "Living Again" is a MUST read!

**I was given this book as a ARC for an honest review** I just finished this book, and all I have to say is OH WOW!  I CRIED,  LIKE UGLY CRIED!!!  This book gave me so many feelings !! So that being said I give it 5 heart wrenching stars!!! There is not much to say without giving spoilers away, but I will do my best. This book had me captivated from page one!  I would have to say this book is different then any book I have ever read, the author sucked me right into Kayley's life and I never left, I think I still might be there.  I did not expect what i got out of this book! Have you ever read a book that changes you and you feel like it has effected your life? That is what this book did for me. No I am not being dramatic! But I did connect with this book on a level that I have never connected with before. I was invested in these Characters and their lives. And it actually cause my heart to ache like I had lost someone that I loved.  Kayley loses her perfect life when her husband Alex dies in a tragic accident right before their child is born. She has to learn to live without this man, and raise a child, and be a Mom and learn to be strong right when she doesn't feel like there is anything to be strong for. She has a great support system, Mom and Dad, in-laws, and best friends, but her heart is still broken and feels like it will never mend or be right again. She has given up on love, and happily ever afters, I feel Kayley just exists, even with a beautiful baby she is just half of the person she could be because of all she has lost. Kayley morns for Alex, it is not a love that is easy to let go of. She cries all the time and barely functions, Alexis is the only thing I believe that is keeping her going.   Something happens to Alexis at her one  year birthday party and Kayley has to take her to the ER. Kayley just prays that it's nothing serious, she has been through so much with losing Alex already she can't lose their daughter too.  Ben "Dr Yummy" meets Kayley when she has nothing left to give, BUT he is willing to help Kayley bring out in her what she thought was long gone. And he is willing to accept her as she is. Damaged and all. Together she learns to put back together her life. She learns to love again. And anyone who has lost someone that they love, knows how hard that is to do. And this book shows her ups and downs, her sadness and her happiness.  Ben is damaged too, he may not have lost someone so tragically, but he has lost none the less. He has trust issues, and although he has let Kayley in a big misunderstanding happens and he has to chose whether he can trust again, or if he is going to put up walls and shut Kayley out.  Ben is a loving caring man who gives his all to Kayley, and is instantly attracted to her. He has so much love to give her and they both have some very serious trust issues to work through, but the thing is they don't have trust issues with each other it is all because of loss and broken relationships. Ben decides that he wants Kayley and stops at nothing on winning her over. He also is good with the fact that she was married and it doesn't bother him when Kayley brings him up. That is something that Kayley really needs to heal.  And not only does Ben connect with Kayley he connects with her daughter right away, and that is also an important fact. He bonds with Alexis almost quicker then he does with Kayley.  I think my favorite part about this book was not Kayley and Ben, and that is saying a lot because I LOVE them.. It was Ben and Alexis~ Kayley's daughter. The way he interacted with her and the things he did with her and for her, just tore my heart out and it was just beautiful. I wish all men could be this way with children. I cannot say enough about this, it was just perfection to me.  This is a heart wrenching story, it brought out all these feelings in me and half way through the book, I just sat there and cried.I mean I ugly cried!!! Tears, snot and not being able to breathe.  I got it together and kept reading, but it was an emotional roller coaster that kept me wanting more! OH there is so much I want to tell you and I can't !! When I was done with this book I was an emotional wreck. I had a book hangover for days. And was depressed like someone I loved died! Kayley and Ben will honestly be apart of my book family always.  YOU must read this!!! It is not a book to pass by. I cannot wait to read more from L.L. Collins she is an amazing writer, so much talent.

I actually give this book 6 stars. I have read over 450 romance books in the last year and only a handful of books do I actually rate a 5 or 6. Let me tell you that I read this book after reading another series about the same topic/theme as this one so I was skeptical and emotional, but this book blew those books out of the water! It is so refreshing to read a book with so much love, minor angst and NO cheating! This book truly made me smile ALOT and I am so glad I gave it a chance. It also has a fabulous and complete HEA! I will absolutely be reading more from this author!!!

Living Again is a wonderful debut novel. I was quickly drawn into the story and my emotions were immediately involved. This is a wonderfully sexy, romantic novel about overcoming traumatic events and taking a chance on love. I found myself neglecting my duties because I simply had to find out how this story ended. Once I started the book, I was unable to stop reading. Kayley is a wonderful female lead who you can immediately feel for and relate to. My heart broke for her, but I was impressed with her inner strength in overcoming the things that would tear most people down. Dr. Ben is swoonworthy. In a word, he's HOT. He's a strong, successful man who becomes completely ensnared with a lovely woman. Em and Cam are great supporting characters and the kind of friends that everyone wishes they had. All of the characters are well developed and the story really flowed for me. Living Again is a realistic journey of loss, heartbreak, rediscovery, love, and redemption. I cannot wait for more from L.L. Collins. This author is going places. 5 solid stars.

This is one of the best books that I have read!!! You feel as if you are in the story experiencing everything the characters go through! It grabs you from the very first page and doesn't let go! I cried so many tears reading this book! This is no Fluff book! It is a meaty, juicy, extraordinary book!! Do yourself a favor and one click this book! L. L. Collins knows how to pluck at one’s heartstrings in double-time! For the first few chapters of Living Again I almost needed to resort to paper towels as I ran out of Kleenex! Talk about a living nightmare, brutal and heartbreakingly horrific, Kayley was married to her best friend, the love of her life and they were having a baby, her life was perfect and it was all shattered in an instant. She became a young widow with a baby who would never know her father and she was lost in a world of despair and loneliness, with a gaping hole in her will to move on. If not for her baby, she would have nothing left to live for. Just as she was ready to try to move on alone, her young daughter is hospitalized after having a seizure on her first birthday. And then HE walked in, and Kayley felt something, attraction, gratitude, something more? Could it be time to move on with life, to actually live again? Living Again is a novel about life, rising from the depths of despair and opening one’s heart to the future, to love, to passion and to living again, told with feeling and heart, L. L. Collins will draw you in and hold you tight until that very last page.
