    Very helpful

    Very good book, it helped me to understand codependence and to begin my recovery. A little too preachy for me but overall very informative. I definately recommend it.

    EYE OPENER

    My husband is now in jail and this has given me time to take inventory of myself. My husband discovered the book and told me about it. Now we both are reading the book. It has opened our eyes to the real world within ourselves. We are discovering things together about ourselves and each other and our children that we are not to happy with. But with the help of this book we can now understand and get the help we need for our family. I make it a point of bringing up this book to at least 1 person a day. I have talked about it so much that my boss now wants to read it. This book has started my family back on the road to recovery and I can not wait to get more reading material to share with myself and my family. Thanks! :)

    The Very Best I've ever read!!

    This is The best book I've ever read-I learn something new everytime I pick it up. I've had to purchase this book 7 times so far..because I lend it out and it never finds it's way back to me! It's written in such a way that allows the reader to fully hear what the author's are saying. I found myself saying, "Ah-ha!!!", throughout the book..

    A Handbook for Life

    I first discovered this book six years ago. Since then I have purchased numerous copies to give to friends and clients. As a divorce attorney I all too often see the results of codependency. I recommended this book regularly to my divorce clients as the first step in getting healthy--for themselves and for their family.

    Excellent book

    These authors have a history of writing good books. Their clinic/ministry is well known. I am in a group working through the issues addressed and have found it challenging and healing at the same time.

    A Life Changing Book

    I both read and processed this book in application of my life. It changed me forever and opened a new level of freedom that I needed to be able to more freely love God as well as love myself and others.

    I use it in ministering to others and recommend it to others who need freedom from co-dependent relationships.

    God so loves us with such a "high" love and such a "pure" love that He does not allow us to have a co-dependent relationship with Him. This book helped me see Him in the correct light and love Him as I should. This moved me to a level in my relationship with Christ that I can both give and receive love at a personal level that I never thought possible.

    I recommend this to anyone who has suffered a hurtful past. Hum ... I guess that covers just about everyone!

    Healing for a low self esteem

    This book helped me undrstand my past & growing up environment so I could discover where my low self image originated. Once I knew that I was able to begin the changes necessary to have a better life. Good for everyone to either help understand yourself or people around you.
