"This was fast paced and edge of your seat drama, as you find out all the details and little secrets as they are revealed. I give, Love Me Back, 4.5 Nostalgic, Innocent, Soul Searching, Ultimate Loving Stars!" Reviewer from Goodreads

Growing up in small-town Belcrest, Maddy Jennings always thought she was destined to be with her childhood sweetheart, Trent Basso. Throughout the complicated road she has traveled with Trent, someone else has had a strong presence in Maddy's life. Trent’s older brother Gabe has always been someone she could count on, therefore neither of them can be blamed when lines blur from friendship to something more. However, promises made between brothers threaten to ensure that neither of them will have a permanent place in her life.
When Maddy returns to her hometown for her brother’s wedding, she is forced to face both Trent and Gabe for the first time in two years. While the two Basso brothers fight to win her heart, she is busy struggling with a past that won't seem to let her go. Whether she wants to or not, Maddy must decide to either forfeit her own happiness or forever tear a family apart.

"I loved this book! I loved the characters Maddy was amazing and she was a strong female character and the Basso boys OMG I wanted one with the descriptions of them. It was a book that could be relatable but also a book that is something to just get lost in. I loved the flips from past to present and the fact that there is NO CLIFFHANGER!!! I highly recommend this book because its a love story with a lot of drama and twists." - My Pathway to Books

Meet the Author

Michelle moved around the Midwest most of her life, transferring from school to school before settling down in the outskirts of Chicago ten years ago, where she now resides with her husband and two kids. She developed a love of reading at a young age, which helped lay the foundation for her passion to write. With the encouragement of her family, she finally sat down and wrote one of the many stories that have been floating around in her head. When she isn’t reading or writing, she can be found playing with her kids, talking to her mom on the phone, or hanging out with her family and friends. But after chasing around two preschools all day, she always cherishes her relaxation time after putting the kids to bed.

Disclaimer: Through an unusual means, I was given this book through a Read 2 Review and asked to provide an honest review by the author. What do I think of this? Hmmm....... Well, to start with, it was kind of a long read, but I found I couldn't put it down. It bounced back and forth between time frames; one second you're in the present and the next you're back when she was 11, etc. Normally that doesn't bother me, but in this case it was a constant thing and you just want her to GET ON WITH IT! I think it would have been better to start out in present, jump into the past and then work back up to the present. Would have flowed better, I think. Due to this jumping back and forth, I developed a level of dislike and hatred for Trent that verged on the passion of a thousand burning suns! HE'S FRIGGIN' LITTLE SPOILED SNOT! All he thinks of is himself and how Maddie needs to be there for him, but when a tragedy concerning Maddy occurs, the little snot is all, "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm too wrapped up in myself and probably banging half the girls around me to be bothered." *kicks him where it hurts with a great deal of satisfaction* Where Maddie is concerned... Ugh! Don't even get me started on her! I'll give you one word for her: enabler. But then we have Gabe. Poor Gabe. I want a Gabe. Can I have a Gabe? I'd prefer to have given this 3.5 stars, as I did like the overall story, but you can't do half stars. *glares at GoodReads* ...be forewarned. This book will place you on an emotionally exhausting roller coaster!

This book is a great read with a huge range of emotions. There were over 1000 pages on my nook color. A lot happens and there are incredible amounts of detail. I loved all the characters and even though it took a while for answers and everthing to workout, it was told realistically and made the story that much better. I will gladly read more from this author in the future....well worth the money!!!!

At first i thought this book would be another one of those terribly written love triangle stories, but read it anyway, and i am glad i did. The book is told in first person narrative and stays with mads the entire time, none of that switching perspectives crap that really only gives the ending away. But the story does switch from past to present, having all of those flashbacks and stuff of what happened, but not in a confusing way. I really enjoyed this book and would incourage you to read it.

I absolutely loved this book. I won a free e-copy of this story and tore threw it in one afternoon. My first initial thought was it's a typical girl loves boy, loses boy and falls in love with said boys older brother. While in some aspects that's true but Maddy, Trent, and Gabe have known each other their whole lives. Trent and Maddy are best friends since they have been kids. So it's only natural that Romantic relationship will develop. That is all well and good until Maddy and Trent go off the different colleges. While Trent is away becoming a big sports star, Maddy is left with Gabe. Gabe is always around to help Maddy with her broken heart. Such an amazing story. I didn't want it to end. If you haven't read this one, Please check it out!

¿¿5 HOT SEXY STEAMY STARS!!¿¿  "When you were destroying me, he was picking me up." I'm not kidding when I tell you that there hasn't been a book by Michelle Lynn that I didn't absolutely love!! This is Michelle's debut book & you wouldn't know it. She is definitely a freaking rock star!! She could write anything and it would be a 100% for me. Michelle makes you feel everything the characters are feeling. This book was no different!! This book revolves around Maddy and her relationship with the very fine Basso bothers Gabe & Trent. They all grew up together. Maddy & Trent are the same age and Gabe is 3 years older. It also revolves around her older brother Jack getting married. She also has a lot of unresolved issues with her mother that have been there her whole life. Maddy never thought she'd ever go back to the place she grew up in. She also thought she'd never see Gabe or Trent again. But, her brother is getting married & set up a week long of events for everyone in the wedding party. We learn rather quickly that Maddy & Trent fell in love when they were 11yrs old.  The book bounced back and forth between past & present time frames. Which I absolutely loved!! Michelle did a fantastic job of filling in the gaps of their childhood.  Maddy & Trent are best friends. They are also each other 1st for just about everything. Maddy is Trent's rock. Maddy is the one person that is always there for Trent. Unfortunately, it's not like that the other way around. "I want to be the reason for your smiles and laughter. I want to make you happy and feel loved." When Trent & Maddy are getting ready to go off to  college Trent breaks Maddy's heart. While Trent is at college living it up. Maddy is all mopping around until she gets a knock at the door from the person she least expected. Gabe. Gabe and Maddy soon become very close rather fast. It's nice because for once in her life, Maddy comes 1st. Gabe and Maddy are trying to fight the feelings that they are starting to have for the other one. When they all head home for the holiday Mrs. Basso sees what is happening & puts a stop to it rather quickly. Poor Maddy is left heartbroken again!! Maddy and Trent try again. But, of course Trent is Trent and it doesn't work out. Gabe hates the way his brother treats Maddy. But, he also can't stand being number 2 all the time. None of them have spoke in years. Until now. "You are my brother's girl. If he can't be here, then I will take care of you." Trent wants to come back & win Maddy back because he says he has finally realizes how much he loves her. And, that he now knows how much he took her for granted. Gabe also wants Maddy. He is tired of listening to his mom. Tired of not wanting to hurt his brother. He's tired of his heart hurting without her. Maddy on the other hand. She wants to go to her brothers wedding. Stay as far away from her mother as possible. She wants Gabe & Trent to become brothers again. And, she wants to move on. But, of course its not that easy!! There are a lot of secrets that have gotten out. People have changed. Now, Maddy must finally choose who or what will make her the happiest.  ”I thought this time would be it but you just embarrassed me again. Make me look like a jackass, following you around begging you to be mine. I should have known you would always pick him.”  Everybody has at 1 time or another been torn between 2 guys. I personally could not imagine being in love with 2 fine, sexy brothers. They are both excellent guys. Both brothers were there for her at different times. Both picked her up at her lowest times. Now Maddy needs to decide to either finally pick a brother. Or walk away from them both. This is one decision I'd hate to make. Especially, between these brothers!! There wasn't anything I disliked about this book! I loved the characters. I loved how it bounced back & forth between past and present times. There were times that I was yelling at either Maddy or between the brothers. Other times I was crying with  them. It was written very well. And, I for one can not wait for what's next!!! "I'm not willing to sacrifice you for him." ~Trent "I am sick of waiting for the time to be right. I want you to be mine." ~Gabe

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. The synopsis grabbed me and I thought it sounded good. It was good. I loved the romance in the story. WARNING: This book does have a major love triangle! This may not be for those haters. Personally, love triangles intrigue me. The story held my attention throughout the whole book. I just had to know what was going to happen and who she ended up with. The characters were well written and made you feel as if you were part of the story. They developed and matured as the book naturally progressed. Overall, this was a great read. I would definitely recommend it. It gets five glittery stars for keeping me so interested all the way until the end!

**ARC in exchange for an honest review** Maddy (Madgirl) Jennings lives in a small town (just over 1000 people) where everyone is already fated to their partner from birth. It’s the same town where the Basso brothers (Gabe and Trent) happen to be the most wanted men and Maddy just happens to be best friends with the youngest Basso brother Trent. Love Me Back tells the story of Maddy and Trent over a 25 year period going back and forth in time and this type of storytelling works really well in this book! Maddy is a very strong girl, and like most women she truly lays herself down in the name of love. Did Maddy have her issues? Of course and when Maddy is forced to return to her hometown for her brother’s wedding she’s forced to confront them and her future. Michelle Lynn did a great job of building the characters and the story line, watching the growth in Maddy as she learns to accept Trent and the situations in her life was realistic and not over the top. Add in a HEA and I was inlove.
