Isabelle plans to escape the real world when she takes a tropical vacation to work on her relationship recovery program. But escape becomes too real when she realizes Paradise Resort has disappeared. She is trapped in an immortal world where she must win her freedom by seducing her opponent, a man she labeled off limits, in a board game of seduction. Her resistance is solid, safe, and steadfast until her traitorous body decides this is a game she wants to play.
Jonathan has made seducing women an art form. His needs are simple: break down Isabelle's resistance, seduce the panties off her, and get back to the real world fast where an emergency needs his attention. He plays to win, but when Isabelle takes a penalty and they must play out her secret fantasy, Jonathan struggles to follow the objective and keep his own arousal under control. Desire grows between them as each roll of the die reveals secrets, truths, and a greater expanse of skin, until the mastermind behind the game forces Jonathan to confront his worse fear or lose Isabelle forever.

Sharon Clare has taken the singles resort idea to a completely different dimension. Unlucky in love Isabelle is forced into close contact with self-absorbed and clueless Jonathon. But what they don't know about each other, is what they need to know to win the game. I loved this highly spicy story that kept me on the elliptical longer than I'd planned, just so I could finish the book.
Well done Ms. Clare.

My mouth is hanging open in awe. Sharon Clare is an author to be reckoned with. To have handled this story, this game, this moment, keeping us all completely engaged, believing and wanting, right to the very end, is an absolute masterstroke of writing. If anyone challenged me with the premise – a game, a simple board game – I would’ve scoffed and said it couldn’t be done, or that it would be boring, and if I had put my hand to the task, I would have been right. Not so Ms. Clare, and we may all thank our lucky stars for it. The story itself is beautiful, even timeless, and the skill that brought it forth, inspiring. I ADORED her first book, Love of Her Lives. It made me laugh out loud many times, and kept me enthralled to the very end, and here again, she proves her worth. While the backstory premise is akin to the first book, Rhapsody follows a completely different, although equally and hugely satisfying path. Am I waxing rhapsodic? You betcha! Very well done!
I purchased this book online and have given this review freely and without monetary compensation.
A quick, yet satisfying read. Isabelle and Jonathan are caught up in an elf's matchmaking game, stranded on the beach until someone wins. Lots of steam and, for such a short book, we get to know the characters very well, and their motivations for avoiding relationships. A surprising twist made this a fantastic read. Highly recommend.

REVIEW: RHAPSODY is romantic fantasy storyline that involves two people caught up in a supernatural game of match making. This is not your typical fantasy storyline, because much of what happens after the initial ‘fantasy’ introduction could be considered an erotic/romantic tale between a couple of strangers who get lost, on a beach, in the dark.
This is a storyline that involves two people searching for something in their lives and not realizing that the one thing they each need and want is standing in from of them-they just need a little push in the right direction-and that is where the ‘supernatural’ board game comes into play.
Sharon Clare takes the reader on a fantasy ride that follows the roll of the dice. With each turn, the sexual tension between Isabelle and Jonathan increases. Following the game board instructions, Isabelle and Jonathan must interact with each other in the ultimate game of seduction where if they do not follow the rules, they will be trapped in this alternate reality forever.
Rhapsody is a seductive storyline of two people getting to know each other both physically and emotionally with every roll of the dice. It is an interesting concept and one that could probably be played out between many couples –acting out their fantasies to a board game premise. There is a little bit of fantasy, a little bit of romance and a little bit of sex. And the ending comes with a little bit of a surprise. All I could think was-after all of that-this happens!!

Fun, fast, sexy, adorable--must read!
I completely adored Sharon Clare’s, Rhapsody. Isabelle and Jonathon are a match made for each other. The boost from the Alfarian, Finn, gives them just the incredibly sexy push they need. I loved the beach setting, the conjured game and the sexual tension. The ending created a unexpected, natural progression for these two fantastic characters.
