Overview

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Roxanne St. Claire brings readers back to the sun-drenched beaches of Barefoot Bay, where love is always in the air! In the brand new Billionaires of Barefoot Bay trilogy, meet a trio of sexy heroes and the most unlikely ladies who steal their hearts in three novella-length love stories.

Book Description

Like everything in his life, becoming a billionaire was easy for Elliott Becker. He bought some land in Massachusetts and discovered he sat on two billion dollars worth of rare Goshen stone. Lucky, charming, and blessed with every gift from every god, Elliott expects his simple purchase of property in Barefoot Bay will go the way everything does for him in life...easy. Until he meets the woman who currently owns that land and suddenly everything is...hard.

Frankie Cardinale’s fondest memories took place on the tiny goat farm owned and run by her “Nonno” in the heart of Barefoot Bay. As a child, the farm and its precious residents were a refuge for her after her parents died and her grandfather taught her all about “the sweet life” of raising goats. While she held her Nonno in her arms on his deathbed, she promised his land would never leave their family and that she would continue his legacy. Nothing -- not even a sexy, playful, intoxicating billionaire who always gets his way -- will convince her to break that promise.

Except Elliott Becker is a man who always gets what he wants even if that means a little seduction and double-crossing of a humble goatherd. But will his lucky streak hold long enough to keep him from making the biggest mistake of his life? Because all the money in the world can’t buy him what he really wants the most...her love.

Another great story by Roxanne St. Claire. This is the second in her novella trilogy Barefoot Billionaires. I really liked the characters in this book, especially (of course) the sexy, billionaire Elliott Becker. He is a charmer, full of himself, yet very sweet and vulnerable at the same time. Her heroine is a spitfire. Frankie Cardinale keeps him on his toes.

    Snippet:
"Men narrowed their eyes in distrust because he was wearing a Stetson and arrived by chopper. Women ogled openly because, well, he was wearing a Stetson and arrived by chopper."

It was a fun, sexy and heartwarming story that helped me escape to a hot beach in southern Florida. A perfect read for me during this wintry cold weather.

I just love these billionaires! While Zeke is still my favorite

I just love these billionaires! While Zeke is still my favorite (I have a thing for geeks), Elliot Becker was adorable. Who else would try to be a goatherd just to get to know a woman better? I loved how he was really trying with Frankie. I loved Frankie as a heroine. She was strong and yet vulnerable at the same time. I loved how she wanted to hold on to what was left of her family's life. I also LOVED the surprise twist ending. Never saw that one coming. Like all the Barefoot books, Roxanne St. Claire had me laughing, crying and sizzling at the same time. All I say here is shower scene! ;) Another winner Rocki!

Seduction on the sand by Roxanne St Claire Seduction on the San

Seduction on the sand by Roxanne St Claire

Seduction on the Sand is Roxanne St Claire at her very best.

I adore this story. A goadherd and a billionaire... or two... or three. Who is the real "niner" in this story?
Because I never give away spoiler I will instead tease you with a few quotes.

~His thighs hurt from squeezing the beasts between his legs as he bent over goat butts and held their hind legs up to do the work.

~Something in his heart just twisted and cracked and fell right open. Easing her down on the bed purely so he could sit and hold her, he stroked her hair off her face and looked into her eyes.

~“I wish you were real, Elliott Becker. You’re funny and great-looking and kiss like a dream."

Frankie Carinale and Elliot Becker are on opposing side of a land fight. While waiting for Frankie to give up her family farm, Elliot decides he will win her over to his side and plans to stay a week on her rustic property. He spends his first night in her goat barn sleeping on the hay.
Frankie puts him to work and begins to think he is the man of her dreams, but is he? Or does he want to win her over so he can make a few dreams of his own come true. Is there a way everyone, including the goats, can win?

Meeting Frankie's goat and, through her memories, her Italian grandfather, are just a couple of the secondary pleasures of this heart warming romance.

I can always depend on Ms. St Claire for love, heart, steam and a lot of conflict. Great story-telling by a master of the craft.

I recommend also reading Secrets in the Sand, the first in her billionaire series.

The second book in the Billionaires of Barefoot Bay is another St. claire hit. Elliot Becker has led a charmed life to become a billionaire. He has learned to be whatever he needs to be to get what he wants along the way as well. Frankie Cardinale has what he wants and will not be fooled by his charm. The romance sizzles along the way as Becker learns how to be his real self, but will it be too late when Frnkie finds out he has been playing both ends to meet in the middle?
Be sure to go back to Barefoot Bay to find out.

Roxanne St. Claire did it again! She made me fall in love...with a man you want to punch one second and...well do something entirely different the next ;) lol

I laughed, cried, laughed so hard I cried while reading this heart melting novella. I couldn't put it down and bought the next one as soon as I was done! Elliot isn't used to people who aren't swayed with money or his charm, and he has met his match in the form of a stubborn and loyal goatherd. Frankie, who lost her parents due to greed, hates money. she can't hate Elliot though...these two will kill you in so many ways and bring you back to life.

one of the best books I have ever read. gives me hope for my own love life hahaha!

oh and I loved the goats!!!

A sweet fun read¿ This is the second Barefoot Bay Billionaires

    A sweet fun read…

This is the second Barefoot Bay Billionaires novella but it can be read as a stand-alone.

Elliott Becker comes to Barefoot Bay to locate the man who owns some property that he needs to buy to build a part of a baseball stadium. What he finds is that the man, Frankie Cardinale, is really Francesca, a gorgeous intriguing woman who has no desire to sell to him or to anybody. Her saying no just makes him more determined so the man who adapts to changing situations is not thwarted for he is lucky and will get his way. What Elliot doesn’t count on is the woman Frankie is and what she does to him. How she makes him regret manipulating her; how she makes him feel the lack of a home. It’s his regrets and his persistence to prove to Frankie that he is “real” and the lengths he would go to make amends when the truth of his subterfuge is revealed that endear him to the reader.

Frankie Cardinale took over the running of her grandfather’s goat farm upon his death. The times she spent with her grandfather as a child after the loss of her parents were special and the land has sentimental value. She has dreams for it, for La Dolce Vita (the sweet life), dreams her grandfather would approve of and she made a promise to him as he was dying to keep it in the family. Frankie also has problems with money; she has learned the hard way that it does not buy happiness. No amount of money anyone offers her will tempt her to sell not even the sexiest handsomest sweet talking Texan imitation that she finds so darn attractive and much as she tries not to likes. Frankie is a great down to earth character, strong and very perceptive. She calls Becker out on his tactics, telling him he’s not “real” even as he does his best to charm her.

This was a sweet fun read with two enjoyable characters, both stubborn, and both in need of each other. They are a good complement. It was quite amusing seeing the billionaire working on the goat farm, getting down and dirty with the animals yet showing tenderness to them. He has more depth than he shows to people but that Frankie saw. I love how Frankie got out of her predicament and also qualifies to play in the Niners exhibition game. That was a very nice plot twist.

Seduction on the Sand by Roxanne St. Claire starts where Sec

Seduction on the Sand by Roxanne St. Claire starts where Secrets on the Sand finishes...with different characters, it is an easy novella to jump into without having read Secrets on the Sand.

In Seduction on the Sand by Roxanne St. Claire, Elliot makes a grand entrance in Barefoot Bay, via helicopter in the midst of a high school reunion.  He is looking for "Frank"...little does he know that Frank is Frankie, and Frankie is definitely all female!

Elliot has looks, money and charm...but he doesn't have the land he wants to build a stadium for minor baseball in Barefoot Bay.  Frankie has the land Elliot needs to seal the deal, and she's not selling.

Frankie's move to Sanctuary Island was supposed to be temporary, but it has become her home again and she's not willing to give it up for any amount of money.  With land and inheritance issues, the last thing she wants is to feel attracted to Elliot.  She wants him to go away, but she can't stop wanting him at the same time.  Elliot thinks he can get whatever he wants with his money, but he's in for a surprise with Frankie.  He's in for a surprise with himself too, when he starts to fall for her.  But in his desire to own the land, Elliot is being deceptive and when Frankie finds out the truth will she be able to forgive him even though she might have her own secrets?  Can Elliot make things right?  Will either of them be able to have what their heart desires the most when the secrets are out?

I really loved Frankie!  She stood her ground and really stood up for what she believed in and what she wanted, it wasn't about the money for her.  She has found peace in Barefoot Bay even if she does have some unresolved feelings about her family.  She is strong and independent, determined to make a good life for herself, and is happy where she is.  Elliot I wasn't too keen on, even if he is hot and the chemistry between Frankie and him is sizzling.  Elliot has had his own issues, but he really thinks he can just get whatever he wants with his money...even if it means being deceitful.  He didn't want to fall for Frankie, but when he did he fell hard.  Frankie and Elliot were at first two people I had trouble envisioning together, but as I got to know them I could see how they'd work out together!

Seduction on the Sand by Roxanne St. Claire starts where Secrets on the Sand finishes...with different characters though, it is an easy novella to jump into without having read Secrets on the Sand.  Roxanne gives us some fun, unexpected plot twists and she keeps us intrigued in yet another aspect and place in Barefoot Bay.  I really love the goat farm in Seduction on the Sand!  It's so different from the rest of the Barefoot Bay series, loved the setting and the laughs there!

I felt Seduction on the Sand was a perfect length novella, never slow or boring, just a great pace of very well written romance!  I'd recommend this to any romance reader looking for a unique setting with some great characters!

Roxanne St. Claire continues her sexy Billionaires of Barefoot B

Roxanne St. Claire continues her sexy Billionaires of Barefoot Bay series with Seduction on the Sand. I was lucky enough to get an early review copy of this book and stopped reading everything else to read it immediately.

Frankie and Elliott's story was so fun. Seriously, any time you get a billionaire to help out on a goat farm and sleep in a barn, you have to have a fun story. I loved that Frankie didn't fall all over Elliott just because he was rich. She wanted to keep her Nonno (grandfather)'s farm and didn't really care how much money he was offering her for it. Not that Frankie wasn't just as attracted to Elliott as he was to her. The chemistry was amazing between them from the very beginning.

I really liked Elliott, even when I knew he was about to risk his future with Frankie. I love that Frankie had made at least one friend in the city offices and Liza was able to warn her of what was going on in advance. For some reason, I missed the clues as to how Frankie would be able to keep her land, but love how strong she was when push came to shove. While I was shaking my head as Elliott made his mistake, he really made a huge play to make things right. He won me over with how he showed his love to Frankie.

I have loved each of the Billionaires of Barefoot Bay so far and can't wait to read Scandal on the Sand as soon as it is released.

Seduction on the Sand by Roxanne St Claire Elliott Becker jumpe

Seduction on the Sand by Roxanne St Claire

Elliott Becker jumped out of his helicopter and addressed the crown asking for Frnak Cardinale. But Miss Frankie wants nothing to do with him. He is in deperate pursuite of her plot of land on Barefoot Bay. She only wants to run the goat farm and sell the milk and soap she'll make. Who will win?

This is an enjoyable novella of the Barefoot series. It was humorous reading Elliott's interactions with the goats. The soap names were brilliant. Makes me want to try to find them.

I received a copy of this book from the author.

    I Also Recommend:

This novella is the second in the Billionaires of BAREFOOT BAY s

This novella is the second in the Billionaires of BAREFOOT BAY series. I devoured the first novella in less than a day and was excited when this one picked up exactly where the first one left off.

After reading all four books in the original BAREFOOT BAY series of novels, I was thrilled when Roxanne announced she would be returning to the island for a series of novellas. Skeptical at first with 'billionaire' in the title, I was thrilled that the novella was as engaging and likeable as the first.

This novella tells the story of Frankie and Elliott, two very unlikely characters that have an instant attraction that grows into so much more. Taking place on the beautiful island, but on land that holds a goat farm of all things, Elliott finds himself helping the beautiful goatherd to get what he wants. And Elliott always gets what he wants. Unwilling to yield and sell her land, Frankie uses her smarts and her determination to make sure her late grandfather's land stays in her possession.

As with all of Roxanne's books, the characters are genuine and likeable. This book even goes a step beyond, giving the animated goats and the dogs as much a place in this story as the main characters. There is never a dull moment, always something to laugh about and enough hot chemistry to keep you turning the pages. And just when you think there could be no happy ending with everyone winning, the surprise twist leaves you happy with the end and anticipating the next novella.

I always say the hero in the most recent BAREFOOT book is my favorite, and again, Elliott is my current favorite of the BAREFOOT novellas. There's just something about a man in a black stetson! I truly cannot wait to read the next one and learn all about Naughty Nate and how he will deal with the news he receives!

I was given a copy of this novella in exchange for an honest review. I can honestly say this is a keeper and I highly recommend the adventure!

Seduction on the Sand is #2 in The Billionaires of Barefoot Bay

Seduction on the Sand is #2 in The Billionaires of Barefoot Bay novella trilogy and I was fortunate enough to receive an advanced copy from Ms. St. Claire for an honest review. I really enjoy Ms. St. Claire's style of writing, she has such a way of making all of her characters feel so real and packs them with personality as she did with Elliot and Frankie. Elliot made me laugh out loud with his over the top antics trying to get what he wants...think it's just land? I related to Frankie because she was determined to hold on to something that's close and dear to her heart.

Love Love how Ms. St. Claire has tied this trilogy to Casa Blanca, an elite resort that was created in the Barefoot Bay series. It feels like I get to go back and visit!!

Fantasize, Imagine, Dream & Want These are the things that

    Fantasize, Imagine, Dream & Want

These are the things that Elliott Becker makes Francesca “Frankie” Cardinale think about.

Elliott is the luckiest man alive. He is a billionaire with good timing, dumb luck & irresistible charm. Elliott meets his match in Frankie Cardinale, a simple goat herder. Frankie can’t be motivated by money; she believes money is the root of all evil. But Elliott needs her land to make his next real estate deal work and he loves a challenge.
Frankie is content to live on her family goat farm & make soap from the goats’ milk. She doesn’t want or need Elliott, his money or his charm. She made a promise & intends to keep it. As Frankie falls for Elliott she discovers that he has deceived her – to make money.

You will smile, laugh & your heart will hurt for Elliott & Frankie as they make their way through the ups and downs of discovering what each of them need to be complete. Elliott has been my favorite male character to date of all the Barefoot Bay books. This book reminds me of an old movie that you have seen multiple times. If it’s on – YOU WILL WATCH IT – you can’t help yourself. So be prepared to sit down and do nothing until you’ve finished this book.

Will Elliott be able to figure out what he wants in life? Can Frankie put her preconceived ideas of money aside? Sit back and enjoy the journey of self-discovery that Elliott & Frankie take.

Seduction on the Sand is the second in Roxanne St. Claire¿s Bil

Seduction on the Sand is the second in Roxanne St. Claire’s Billionaires of Barefoot Bay trilogy of novellas. This one brings us the story of Frankie and Elliott. She’s just inherited a prime piece of real estate / goat farm. He wants to buy it to build the parking lot and entrance road for the billionaire’s proposed minor league baseball park. Add in a smarmy lawyer claiming to have a copy of her grandfather’s will and Frankie has her hands full. Elliott, in the interest of protecting his investment, offers to be a goatherd for a week. Against her better judgment Frankie agrees. Elliott helps her develop signature fragrances for her goat soaps and manages to get under her skin.

This is a novella I wish were longer. I love novellas, so I don’t often say that. There is much that I would have loved for St. Claire to explore further. The death of Frankie’s parents on 9/11 and Elliott’s chameleon like tendencies stemming from his nomadic childhood among the top of the list. While inclusion of these topics as background makes for richer characters, I really wanted to know more about how these events shaped the people they are today.

Despite the outstanding desire to know more, this is a fun, fast read. I really enjoyed seeing Frankie and Elliott develop into their relationship and become stronger for it.
