41 Pages? Is this this a sample or an error? This does not appear to be a novella because the story simply vanishes - stops. The other volume in this series (also available as a free eBook) reveals the same text. Becasue this selection is not considered a sample, there is also not a purchase option.

The story was good. It just did not finish. It felt like a couple of chapter sample. Disappointing.

I tried to download this book. The cover picture that shows up on the nook is correct, but the title page for the book is the first book. The downloaded book is a duplicate of the first book, not the second book at all.

Much like the first offering in this series, this novella grabs the reader and requires a great degree of focus. My only complaint, and it is admittedly picky, is the difficulty inherent in being exposed to a new alien culture in a short span of pages and trying to assimilate those details into the story line. The story left me wanting to read more, particularly about the Keshiri and their uvak-riders. All things being equal, this was an effective story to add to the ever-growing collection of work about the Sith. I personally consider exploring the history of the Sith to be the most compelling addition to the Star Wars expanded universe in recent times and hope that Mr. Miller is able to work on future Sith projects. I would recommend this short story to all fans of the genre.

I don't want to give away any details about the book (noveletta actually...) but I had some problems with the lack of consistency with some aspects of the story. I also got the impression that you needed to be somewhat familiar with the Star Wars universe (not just the movies) to follow these stories particularly well. Perhaps it is simply that this is not a good starting point for the series. If you are just a star wars fan lookin' to kill an hour or two then you might like this but otherwise I advise steering clear.

This book started off confusing but now that I finished it, it all makes sense! Oh my goodness I love this series. I can see Korsin and Adri falling in love, maybe. That is just a little thought that could come true. Xoxo Merry Christmas.

The follow up to the second story was better than the first. A sci-fi short story for geologists about futuristic geologists. I did enjoy fate of the jedi, where father and son decide to ride down a black hole together. This wasn't a bad read for a short story.

Every book is a window to another world. The Star Wars galaxy I believe is the largest alternate universe. There are many world to discover here. In the many books.
