A Great book mixing werewolves and marines.  This book takes you

A Great book mixing werewolves and marines.  This book takes you through the development of a relationship between a True Alpha and his Dominant.  The only problem
is the Dominant is learning werewolf culture and the expectations of being a Dominant on the fly.  If you love men in uniform and werewolves, this is the book for you.
Be aware that the author is very good at keeping with the vocabulary used by the Marines, but it will not slow you down while you live this book. :-)   All I hope for is that
the author will hurry and write another book in this series. Hopefully with the secondary character Tim.

    Loved it!

Really enjoyed following along as Lucas learned to be Noahs dominant. It was a fast passesd book set in a country torn apart by war. I liked the twist they did, with warewolves not hidding and not feared and hunted by humans, how they faught and died right beside their fellow soliders. Lucas and Noah are such an intersting pair you will not regret the purchase of this book! Can't wait for Tim's book!

Can't wait for more stories in this world

This was my first book by this author and it won't be the last. Lucas and Noah are the ultimate manly couple. Lucas is a man of integrity and Noah has such depth of emotion. KM does a great job of blending the sensuality with the emotional journey they are taking. The battle scenes are realistic and heartbreaking at times. This is a definite buy!!!

Reviewed by Christina Marie at The Morning After Romance: Fascinating and sexy!

Strength of the Pack is a fascinating variation on a shifter story. I loved the world building in this; it drew me in from the start. Add deployed Marines and two sexy alpha heroes and it becomes deep-fried amazing.

I don't want to get into the plot too much because I really enjoyed learning about the werewolf dynamic in this book by watching it unfold on page. So, Lieutenant Lucas Young finds Sergeant Noah Hammond, who happens to be an Alpha werewolf, assigned to his platoon. As the officer in charge of the platoon, Lucas needs to assert his dominance over Noah. Many great things ensue.

Lucas and Noah are both great characters. I grew really attached to them. I appreciated the way they were both written. Their reactions are subtle at times, which allows the reader to draw conclusions based on the characters body language. Their relationship builds slowly. I liked watching it develop even though Lucas and Noah have communication issues. Man, do they. They are both running blind for a bit, and its heartbreaking but they work it out. Me, I like it when characters are a bit dense. It just seems more realistic because, really, who talks about their emotions? It's normal to be emotionally stunted right? Right? Anybody?

Now, I need to talk about the sexual tension. The sexual tension, holy wow the sexual tension. It made my lady parts swoon. I loved the cheek rubbing, the smell sniffing, and the hand jobbing. Oh my word, were there a lot of hand jobs! But, I liked it, it was so freaking sexy. THEIR PALMS ARE ON FIIIIIRE (Sing it with me Ms. Keys). Lucas and Noah are hot. The end.

Oh wait, did I forget to mention the part where they move past the forearm workouts and onto the intensely hot, someone PUHLEASE turn on the A/C I am in danger of overheating, sex? WOMAN DOWN. I need some help. I repeat. I have passed the hell out. Seriously, by the end of this book I felt like I needed a cigarette.

An important side note: I would not have purchased this based on the cover or the blurb. I was lucky enough to have stumbled across a great review and I was all "ermahgahd I would love this, I need it now." And I did love it. I even proved my love by rubbing my cheek all over my kindle when I finished. But seriously, the cover... sigh. Just don't be put off by it because this was a great read.

I'm not sure if I made it clear yet but I LOVED this. It's to the point where I'm a little grossed out at myself for having this many warm and fuzzy feels. I read into the wee hours of the night, and then get this; I had to put it down because I didn't want it to end, not ever. Anyway, I eventually put on my big girl panties, stopped pouting about it being over, and finished the book. I can't say I was satisfied with the ending because I was irrationally angry that an end existed. There was nothing left unresolved, but I would have been happy to read 500 more pages about Lucas and Noah. That's a good thing. Just. Give me the next book now. NOW. I want it now!
