Overview

For Amanda Jacobs, dealing with the pain of losing her beloved Dad is the toughest thing she's ever gone through, and it comes with a lot of complications, as well - like taking over the family business, Mountain Ridge Outdoor Adventures. It makes her miss the simplicity of being a teenager, when she was surrounded by her amazing friends, The Fabulous Four, and she was madly in love with her Dad's right hand man, Justin Barnes. His sexy smiles and deep brown eyes had made her heart race in a way she's never felt before or since. When the Fabulous Four unexpectedly show up on her doorstep to support her through this complicated time, things seem to be looking up for Amanda. But that's not the only surprise visit in store for her...

Justin Barnes left Hope Falls ten years ago, in the dead of night, and didn't think he'd ever set foot there again. That was just fine with him, except for one little complication: Amanda Jacobs. He had fallen in love with her unruly blonde curls and sparkling sapphire eyes, but she had been a teenager then, five years younger than he - too young for him to act on his attraction. Still, he'd missed her every single day of those ten years. When Justin receives a phone call that his former mentor has passed away, he knows he has to return to Hope Falls. Justin just has one question - will the girl that once adored him have grown into a woman that can't stand him? Or will she still be the only thing in the world that feels like home?

Amanda's father passes away unexpectedly. Her three friends come in to be with her. On the day of the reading of the will Justin shows up. Justin left ten years ago and was never heard from again, until now. He has loved Amanda for years and she him. This story is about forgiveness, love, friends and a little sex.

Great love story! Loved the Fabulous Four (Karina is my favorite), and I loved Hope Falls! Great book! Highly recommend!

I enjoyed Justin and Amanda's story, but I felt that there was way too much over analizing after every conversation and much of that analizing was repeated over and over again. It stretched this story out so much I couldn't wait for it to end. 225 pages

I loved everything about this book. The funny parts that made me laugh, the romance and suspense that kept me reading. This is one of the best books I have read.

I couldn't put this book down! I laughed and cried, and was rooting for Amanda and Justin!!! Great character development and I loved the town of Hope Falls! Can't wait to read about the rest of the 'Fabulous Four'!

Its sweet but nothing in this book has grabbed me yet! Just seemed to drag on, i found myself wishing i was done with the book already, my mistake was buying 3 books in the series

"Sweet Reunion" pays perfect homage to small town traditions, where kindness and morals are present at every turn and where love and family are the staples of life. I fell in love with the characters and their stories and thank the authors for taking the time to make them real. This is such a great love story; in a time where vampires and zombies seem to be the new sexy, it feels good to get back to that old school love. The kind that starts out as a hard crush, which turns into unattainable love, which leads to heartache, only to end with love's "Sweet Reunion". I can't wait to read the next installment of this endearing chronicle!

Good plot...kept treading water waiting for SOMETHING to happen. It did, instead of actual writing, the last 20 pages or so got R rated. The graphic sex scenes were not necessary to the book. Giant waste of time.

Very good I really enjoyed reading this book .

At first I was worried that it would be too sad for a romance based on the description. However, because the heroine had so much support from her town and friends, her grief didn't detract from the romance. Enjoyable, especially for a free book.

This author brings out every emotion you have, from laughing to crying and every thing in between. Plus it is well edited...which makes for such a nice smooth read.

Not going to continue the series. Cute story line but can't make myself read the rest of the books. They all seem very similar

Little slow moving

Seemed okay at first. I thought the characters were developing nicely. Then it just started to drag. I'll finish it, but I won't be looking for more in this series.

Too many peooke in here. Too many activities in one book. It would have been better for me.

Some may say that predictability spoils a plot. I don't get it. Amanda and Justin are meant to be together...it's the trip to "together" that draws you in. And while you may need a tissue - or a box - for the tender feelings evoked by Ms. Shawn's writing, you will also find yourself grinning and perhaps even laughing out loud. Thoroughly enjoyable read.
