Editorial Reviews

Reviewer - Iris Pross
"This sweet and touching story will have you reaching for tissues. The newest in the Calendar Men series does not disappoint. By now, if you are familiar with the Calendar men you know to expect a hero who has survived the war. He's battered and scarred, but he's beaten the odds and made it home alive. What made this story different for me was the letter...Mina Carter took that letter and turned it into something beautiful. She turned it in to a new beginning for two well deserving people."
Reviewer - Romance Reader
"I read the letter because I am probably Mina Carter's #1 fan. I don't care what anyone says, I know I am. Now for the letter. It is a beautiful story about loss and love. About finding someone you don't expect to find. I know a lot of people will say I'm not giving them enough detail, but if did, I'd mess it up for you. I don't like spoilers so I don't do spoilers. Just know that this story is very heart-wrenching, touching and so romantic it will make you sigh at the end. I loved it."

Meet the Author

Mina Carter was born and raised in Middle Earth (otherwise known as the Midlands, England). After a slew of careers ranging from logistics to land-surveying she can now be found in the wilds of Leicestershire with her husband, daughter and a cat who moved in and never left.

Suffering the curse of eternal curiosity Mina never tires of learning new skills which has led to Aromatherapy, Corsetry, Chain-maille making, Welding, Canoeing, Shooting, and pole-dancing to name but a few.

A full time author and cover artist, Mina can usually be found hunched over a keyboard or graphics tablet, frantically trying to get the images and words in her head out and onto the screen before they drive her mad. She's addicted to coffee and Nutella on toast.
