Meet the Author

Jennifer Malone Wright resides in the beautiful mountains of northern Idaho with her husband and five children. Between the craziness of taking care of her children, whose ages range from fourteen all the way down to six months, and being a homemaker, Jennifer has little time left for herself. The time she does have left, usually leading far into the night, is spent working on freelance work or her beloved fiction.

When she grew up, Jennifer always had her nose in a book. She has been writing stories and poems since grade school. This love of the written word and her strong interest in the paranormal is what has led to her first novel "The Birth of Jaiden."

In addition to being a mother and homemaker, Jennifer is also a very proud military wife. Moving around the country for the last ten years has made her a bit of a nomad and she finds it difficult to be in one place for too long.

"The Birth of Jaiden" is only the beginning of novel writing for Jennifer; she has many more stories which are just waiting to be written.

    Interesting paranormal twist :)

I really enjoyed this first segment in this series. The author skillfully pulled you in and told you a great story. I was hooked from page one and honestly would have gone crazy if I didn't have part two to follow up with. This segment has a ton of suspense, action, and downright crazy fight scenes. I recommend this book to all who like a bit of a twist on the normal vampire/hunter story :)

This installment sets up the whole premise of the series beautifuly. I am actually goig to start the next one as soon as I finish this review so it is going to be super short ;).

Chloe's story is heating up. She is nursing her injury from the fight
with the vampires. But instead of feeling defeated, she is even more
eager to vanquish them all. But in the meantime, she has her hot date
with Gavin to the New Year's Ball to worry about. For one night, she
gets to forget about vampires and get all dressed up. But why is Drew
acting so jealous? It sounds like a love triangle is brewing. Vampires
are getting closer. Chloe's vampire blood is also starting to heat up a
bit, though she is trying hard to ignore it. I see some foreshadowing in
this installment. Luke is slowly recuperating in the hospital. But then
he has a sinister visitor. Chloe is forced to make some major life
decisions and abandons this new life to which she has just started to
become accustomed. The Vampire Hunter's Daughter Part IV ends with a
cliffhanger that will make you impatiently wait for the fifth part.
Rumor has it that Part V will become available at the end of March. I am
looking forward to it, because I have been completely sucked into this
story! The Vampire Hunter's Daughter series is one that will appeal to
those who love vampires, as well as those of us who traditionally don't.
It's fun young adult reading that will keep you glued to the screen and
escape reality for a short while. [This review also appears on Andi's
    Young Adult Books.]

Excellent read. This book is only a few that I've found to be shockingly FREE! I will definitely be reading more books from this author.

The only disappointing thing is that it wasn't longer, and that the second book is NOT free. But I guess we can't always get what we want, right?! :P

Highly recommend it! Happy Reading :)

Be careful, this book is only part one! If you want to try to read this one, be sure to have the other part handy! This book was okay, but I wouldn't read it again(and that's saying something, because I re-read almost EVERY book!). This book is more of an 'I-have-nothing-else-to-do-I-guess-I'll-just-read-this-one' kind of story.
