These stories bring to life the joys of living in a small town. The characters, although fictional, could be any one of our neighbors. As I read the stories I could place a picture to each of the personalties, even the way they talk and their actions. I felt as though I could drive right into town, walk into any the businesses and expect all of the characters to be there. I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful novel by Kathleen Valentine, and highly recommend it to everyone for a brief respite from this world's craziness.
