Imagine being sixteen years old and told you have a rare form of cancer? Receiving the diagnosis was just the beginning for Dave. Dave learned something from his incredible journey through cancer. He learned that life is short. He didn't want to go to his grave wishing he'd lived life differently. So he made a pact to live life completely out loud. This book is his definition of what that means to him and the reader. The cover alone will make you want to pick up the book. But the inside is just as fun. The conversational style of first person makes the book more relate-able. At the end of each chapter is a short reflection/study guide. It has a paragraph that gives food for thought, a scripture to read that goes along with the thought, a prayer, and a short thought that will help you apply the live out loud concept discussed in the chapter. So not only was the book enjoyable to read, but it helped me really think about ways that I could live out loud for God. This book would be perfect for a youth group. I received this book free of charge from Book Club Network & Elk Lake Publishing in exchange for my honest review.

What an inspiring book! This book was very easy to read. I read it within two evenings. It is amazing how much God has used Dave Bell. He has a wonderful and inspiring testimony. This book was also humorous at times. Dave has a fun loving personality and it showed in the way he writes. I loved how he included pictures of his family/life. I loved how this book showed how God is still so powerful and He still performs miracles today. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone especially. I received this book from bookfun for my honest opinion.

Seize the Day – Living Life Out Loud Dave Bell, worship leader, musician, and song writer tells his story in his book “Your Guide to Living Life Out loud.”  In 2003 sixteen year old Dave was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer located on the back of his right eye. Dave was faced with six months of chemotherapy as well intense radiotherapy. Doctors revealed to Dave and his parents that the cancer may take his life, impact his vision, and that the treatments might leave him unable to father children. Through these traumatic challenges Dave learned early to face the facts, by claiming God’s promises, and embracing the truth. He took an attitude of living life to the full. He sums up his approach to receiving healing as: takingthe right perspective, recognizing the power of faith, accepting the fact that healing is a process, and  that it is a partnership with God and a team from the  medical field.  Helpful healing checklists provide a guide and reminder of the progress of the healing process. Dave also uses the lyrics of songs he has written, collaborated on, or have been helpful to him to bring encouragement and inspiration to the reader.  Bell’s writing style reads like a fast moving adventure story. US readers take note that the author is from the UK to appreciate some unique idioms. Dozens of photos speak for themselves in telling Dave’s story. Another unique feature of the book is the: Life Out Loud Guide, written by Paul Blundel, and illustrated with artwork created by Anton Fowler. Dave’s is a positive testimony of finding freedom through battling aggressive cancer by aggressively “Living Life Out Loud.” A complimentary copy of this book was provided for review purposes. The opinions expressed are my own.

David Bell's book is definitely a must read! I started reading and couldn't put the book down!! He inspires readers to live life to the fullest or as he puts it " Live Life Out Loud."  As a young person who had to endure horrific experiences, his life certainly puts things into perspective. He challenges readers to trust God no matter what the outcome is and to speak in victory and be positive, no matter what the circumstances look like. This book is truly a testament to the wonderful work that The Lord has done in his and his family's lives. Against all odds he overcame and endeavors to strive everyday to live his life out loud!!   This book was given to me by Book Fun Club in exchange for my honest opinion.

Dave is married to Sarah and they have two young sons, Jackson and Levi. My Review: Based upon his experience with a life threatening cancer, Dave Bell has written what its like to be faced with something so horrific that you doubt you will ever survive. Then he shows us how you will with God as the captain of your situation turn it out for His glory. He takes our circumstances and shows us how we are to treat it and how we are to overcome it. By speaking words of affirmation and putting trust in Him we are sure to overcome anything that seems unsurmountable to our earthly eyes. It's not Gods way to simply turn and run, we as His children are to face it head on with Him in the lead. Mr. Bell takes his experience and inspires us to meeting those challenges head on and strong all for God's glory. At the end of each chapter there is a Life Out Loud Guide with these challenges and helps: Think out Loud, Read Out Loud, Pray Out Loud, and Live out Loud.  **Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Bookfun.
