This collection of 99.9 KEZ the Holiday Station: Holiday Hits from Sony includes mostly contemporary pop versions of Christmas classics. Wham! offers up its' "Last Christmas," Gloria Estefan wants to "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!," Paul McCartney hopes that everybody can have a "Wonderful Christmas Time" and Vanessa Williams, in a rare fit of paranoia, wonders "Do You Hear What I Hear?." Nat King Cole ("Christmas Song (Merry Christmas to You)") and the Beach Boys ("Frosty the Snowman") do their best to provide some warmth from the days of classic Christmas radio, but the Trans-Siberian Orchestra ("Christmas Eve-Sarajevo 12/24") can't help but interpret the holiday spirit as an excess of heavily orchestrated keyboard and mid-'80s power chords. ~ James Christopher Monger
