Ken Ashwell teaches anatomy to medical, health and exercise, and science students, and maintains an active involvement in research on brain development (both normal and abnormal) and brain evolution. He has written extensively for scientific journals, and has both written and contributed to many books on scientific topics. He is professor of Anatomy at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.
