Overview

Life can be simple but, yet, complex. "Degreed and Homeless" is as real as real life gets.
The author dives deep into his emotions, seeing you through a depressive journey, exposing his deepest darkest, fears, and secrets. The further you read, the more disheartening you may feel, realizing how hard it can be for, even, a college educated black man in America.
This fresh graduate, quickly turned into a soldier does whatever it takes to be successful. This story is real truth and dives straight to the point of a real perception of a young man, striving for the American Dream.
The preface, is a welcoming. The body is deeply complicated. Yet, the ending, well the ending isn't a fairytale. Will you see me, or will you see yourself on the last page?

Tamarcus Lott is a Memphis, TN native. He is the youngest of four and twin to his older brother (by six minutes). Tamarcus became the first-generation graduate once he earned his Bachelor's of Science in Speech and Mass Communication at Jackson State University. He credits his alma mater for opening his eyes to the history of black people and black excellence. “Degreed and Homeless” is his first venture as an author and publisher. Tamarcus started TalkALott Production Company during his senior year of college. The company’s first attempt to produce a mini-series never obtain licensing rights from the university and the footage never saw the light of day. Years later after a series of unfortunate of life events, Tamarcus re-envisioned his future and sought out a new direction for his company. He relaunched his company as TalkALott Media Company, LLC.
