Ali Smith is the acclaimed Scottish author of the Seasonal Quartet Series, A Cage Went in Search of a Bird, Companion Piece, Artful, There But For The, How to Be Both and more. Her books, Hotel World and The Accidental were both shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize and the Orange Prize. Smith is also a playwright, journalist and short story writer. She lives in Cambridge, England.
