Drew Daywalt is an American author and filmmaker. His children's book, The Day the Crayons Quit is a bestselling picture book having sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide. In addition to writing children's books, he writes scripts for American television shows and Hollywood studio films. Daywalt is also a big horror fan and has created a few short horror films that have been released online.
