Heather Fawcett is the bestselling Canadian author of books for adults, teens and children. Fawcett's popular books include Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries, Even the Darkest Stars, Ember and the Ice Dragons, The Language of Ghosts and many more. She has a master's degree in English Literature and has worked as an archeologist, photographer, technical writer and backstage assistant for a Shakespearean theater festival. She lives on Vancouver Island.
