Ron Chernow (b. 1949) is an award-winning writer, journalist, and historian best known for his biography of Alexander Hamilton that inspired the hit Broadway musical, Hamilton. In 2011, he won the Pulitzer Prize in Biography for his book Washington: A Life, and he is also the recipient of the National Book Award for Nonfiction for The House of Morgan, on the banking dynasty. Additional books include The Warburgs, Titan, and The Death of the Banker.
