What Do You See?: Volume 01 - Clouds
My love of nature and the beauty it holds inspired me to share with you a new way to "Look," "See," and "Listen."
It's everywhere around us, nature, when you take the time to look at nature, whatever form you look at, flowers, clouds, animals, trees, etc., you may see different images appear within the same sight. It may be obscure, it may be interchangeable, it may be definite, but the question remains: What Do You See?
What you see is your own interpretation, recognition, and mental impression; that's what we call "Perception."
One's perception is just that, it's yours. Everyone has their own perceptions, and that's what makes us unique and interesting. That's why I feel this book can build relationships by sharing the photos and taking the time to "Look, See, and Listen."
Look at the photos carefully, see what appears, and share your perceptions with those who are with you. Listening to another person's perception of the same thing is so interesting, especially when they don't see what you do and you don't see what they do.
This is my version of a video game. No electronics needed. So, please, phones off.
The only things you will need are you and my book, so... get your friends together, it is easier if everyone has their copy, but sharing is caring, and I am all for that. Make a fun game out of this time.
Everyone needs a pad and a pencil to write or draw what they see. Use a 3-minute egg timer; remember, phones are off. The old-fashioned egg timer works great. When time is up, one person starts by sharing what they see or saw, and if anyone shares the same image, they get a point each. Trying to get someone to see what you see can be challenging and fun. Just respect that they don't have to see what you see, so always be nice. Make up your own rules; I just made it up while typing this for my publisher.
It's a great way to interact with others without the use of electronics, person-to-person contacts, relationships, and communication!
And great photos, real and untouched, moments of nature's beauty frozen, to be shared with you and others.
Volume 01 consists of some of my favorite pictures of clouds, there's a lot to see in clouds, captured in a photo allows us the opportunity to revisit the pages and see something different every time.
Look, See, and Listen. The more you look, the more you see, the more you look, the more you see. Have fun and share your thoughts and perceptions.
