About the Author

Aoife Monks is Reader in Theatre Studies at Queen Mary University of London and is currently Director of Research and Impact for the Department of Drama. She is Consulting Editor of Contemporary Theatre Review journal and co-convenor of the Feminist Research Working Group at the International Federation of Theatre Research. She is the author of The Actor In Costume (2010) and, with A. Maclaurin, Readings in Costume (2014).
