Deloris Lago Young was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and reared in Plaquemine, Louisiana. After having graduated from Iberville High School, she obtained a B.A. in Elementary Education, a Masters +30 from Southern University. In addition, she did further study at both Louisiana State and Nicholls State Universities resulting in 30 hours of continuing education. Her passion for teaching has helped develop the minds of students who have now become teachers, nurses, lawyers, guidance counselors, engineers, ministers, a sheriff, etc. Retiring after 31 years in the classroom has not diminished her love of teaching. She has chosen a new method-writing biblical truths.
