About the Author

Dr Susan Wallace is Reader in Post-compulsory Education at Nottingham Trent University. She taught for ten years in FE, and has worked in an LEA advisory role for post-16 education. She has written widely on professional development for teachers. Jonathan Gravells is a Management Consultant specialising in organisation development and change. He is a trained coach and mentor with many years experience of developing effective leaders and managers. He is co-author with Susan Wallace, of "Mentoring in Further Education, "and is currently involved in researching the effectiveness of mentoring for managers in small businesses.
