About the Author

John Bilous is a photographer based in NYC, for now. He’s always been fascinated by travel and capturing the world as he sees it. His work has been featured around the world and in publications such as Baltimore Magazine, Washingtonian, and British Vogue. Jon’s favorite themes are of the urban variety, specifically, architectural details. He’s guided by wanting to tell the full story (you should hear the way he talks about it). “Taking the time to capture the small details of any neighborhood/city/town is when you’re no longer a tourist with a camera. As a photographer, that’s when you join the fabric of the community you’re photographing.” Visit noirgallery.com to learn more about Jon’s work.
