The Smith Mountain Lake series is all wonderful, but the Wide Blue Sky is a barn burner. SHE HAS A WAY OF LETTING YOU IN TO HER CHARACTERS LIVES, THAT YOU HATE TO FINISH THE BOOK AND LET THEM GO.
