About the Author

Thomas Berry, C.P., was a geologian, historian of religion, and philosopher, a member of the Passionist order, and the single most important Christian and Catholic voice on the link between faith, reverence for all of life, and the environmental crisis. His many books included The Dream of the Earth and Evening Thoughts (both Sierra Club Books).
