About the Author

RICK GINSBERG is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policies, and codirector of the Office of Research in the College of Education at the University of South Carolina.

DAVID N. PLANK is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Administration at Michigan State University. Together, Ginsberg and Plank edited Southern Cities, Southern Schools (Praeger, 1990).
