About the Author

Martha Hamilton & Mitch Weiss Bio: Martha Hamilton and Mitch Weiss have collaborated to write more than 15 children's books. Their work has received numerous awards including Irma Simonton Black and James H. Black Award for Excellence in Children's Literature, Parents' Choice Award, National Parenting Publications Awards, Anne Izard Award and Storytelling World Award. Mitch and Martha retell stories from around the world in their unique, conversational manner so that children can easily understand and enjoy these timeless tales. From their home in Ithaca, New York, they have traveled the world since 1980 sharing their passion for folktales and storytelling with children of all ages. Baird Hoffmire Bio: Baird Hoffmire is an animator, illustrator, graphic designer and exhibiting artist. He resides in Charleston, South Carolina with his beautiful wife, Jane and his equally lovely daughters, Sadie and Harper. With a BFA in Illustration from Western Carolina University and a BFA in Media Arts and Animation from the Art Institute of Atlanta, Baird has been working as a professional artist for over ten years. His illustrations in Story Cove picture books and animated stories have been enjoyed by tens of thousands of children around the world. Besides painting, illustrating books and spending time with his family, Baird loves to play basketball.
