Dr Simon MacKenzie is Senior Lecturer in Marine Biotechnology at the Institute of Aquaculture, University of Stirling, UK. He is a known expert in the field of evolutionary biology and nanotechnology toward improving health in aquaculture and whole genome sequencing. He has published 60 articles and has contributed to book chapters.

Dr Sissel Jentoft (CEES, University of Oslo, Norway) PhD (Dr. scient) in fish physiology/molecular biology, from Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB). : Project Coordinator at the Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Synthesis (CEES) Cod Genome Project ; Contributed to over 19 book chapters and published ~50 research articles.
