Going Full Circle
In the grip of serious numerical decline, American Evangelical churches are now experiencing a missional movement. God is calling his people to return to a biblical lifestyle that goes full circle in continual worship, discipleship, and missions. Mark Powers connects the dots between these three main elements of authentic Christian living. He presents a theology of missional worship, a detailed discipleship plan, and a strategy for local music missions. Going Full Circle uses everyday language to present a simple thought process to move worshipers and worship leaders to become worshiping disciples on mission. Are you a casualty of worship wars? Are you worried about the decline of your church? Are you thrilled with fast growth churches but sense there must be something more than spectator worship? Are you confused by the word ""missional"" that seems to be popping up everywhere? This book is for you and your friends. Read it, share it, and join the movement!

What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

"Anytime I want to understand something, I want to hear from someone with informed perspective. And that is precisely who my friend Mark Powers is for worshipers everywhere. Going Full Circle will challenge you to think differently about worship and God's plan to reach the world through his worshipers. You need to read this important perspective from a veteran leader of worship and worship leaders."
—Mike Harland, Director, LifeWay Worship

"I am frequently asked 'what about worship?' when discussing the missional church. Mark Powers helps us see that worship is central to the mission of the church—not as a program, but as the engine that powers the life of the Jesus-follower, who is living a life of mission. This book is a great contribution to the whole missional conversation."
—Reggie McNeal, Missional Leadership Specialist, Leadership Network

"Kristyn and I first met Mark Powers five years ago at a Monday morning gathering for South Carolina music directors. As we have corresponded and worked together since, we have constantly been encouraged by his passion to serve the church with every moment God has given him—through music and songs of every description and in his interaction with local church music directors as well as composers and artists. His commitment to teaching, equipping, and encouraging at every level is admirable."
—Keith Getty, Hymnwriter and Composer
