Legacy of the Living is Book Two of the new Blood, Brains, and Bullets series by Sean Liebling. In Book One, Jay pulled the town of Newaygo together, helped a National Guard unit, executed a rogue preacher bent on pulling the newly-formed community apart, and was named interim governor for the State of Michigan. Along the way he accumulated three girlfriends while making sure his young children survived. Book Two continues on, beginning with the aftermath of a devastating zombie attack. As the town mourns the loss of many of their near and dear ones, Jay and his military personnel are faced with the chilling discovery that the zombies have evolved-have become even more clever and cunning. And they seem to be focusing their attacks on the children of the survivors! Jay knows that in order to survive the influx of the multitudes of undead hordes, as well as the anticipated attacks by the Shadow Government, he must be ready. He does not intend to lose any more of his people. Under his direction, Newaygo's ever-expanding group of survivors dig in and begin rebuilding. Their numbers have increased to the point that nearby Fremont is cleared and designated a new home for incoming survivors. Master Sergeant Darin Trask begins intense weapons training of Jay's people, including Jay's girls. Jay doesn't plan on merely surviving-he will take this battle to them! His intentions become a reality when he is joined by Major Robinson and elements of the 9th Special Forces Group and those of the 162nd SOAR. The Shadow Government continues with their machinations in support of their New World Order Eugenics plan. Dr. Lynch, under the direction of a handful of world leaders, will sacrifice anything and everyone in his way in order to achieve their goal. Realizing that something is very wrong at the CDC, Dr. Samuel Thomas escapes with vital information. Can he make it through the devastated, war-torn countryside and find someone who can use this knowledge-to save the United States of America-and the world? Meanwhile, the Reaper and his new apprentice, Travis, embark on a mission to reduce the ranks of the dead. They are assisted in their efforts by a lesbian biker gang, led by Chief Biker Alethea. Several groups of survivors are encountered, including the disabled and autistic heroes of Clear Haven Rehabilitation Clinic. They battle to save the newborns of nearby Mercy Hospital, even as they are about to be overrun by hundreds of thousands of zombies.

All of my books are about HOPE! Yet not only hope but also about self-sacrifice for fellow man/woman/child and protection of the innocent. I believe in God, Country and Patriotism. I write a strong dose of 'punch in your gut' non-stop fighting action accompanied by a 100% intolerance for racism or hatred of alternate lifestyle living. By the same token I am fairly conservative in most other areas. Not an oxymoron, just common sense. I also write with realism as in how it may likely be. Many will disagree and I enjoy the discourse.

Served twice in the USMC who incarcerated me in Beirut, Iraq, Panama, Somalia and a few other places until I was barely discharged for good behavior. Currently the owner of a few businesses that are actually making money in this bad economy and also a licensed firearms instructor, just to keep my hand in the game.

I am also one of those evil Preppers and have all the stuff my characters have with the exception of an underground bunker. LOL. I am the bug in type and will stay and protect my community and the children, for they are our future. Do I expect anything to happen? Nope! But it costs me little to prepare, and it's actually fun.

I am me! I have fun and I'm rarely serious. About this series I wrote and am writing. I have no illusions that I'll be the next Stephen King. I do it because I simply have to, and honestly I'm having fun while not taking myself too seriously. I've found I really enjoy writing, whether or not I have the skills necessary. Everything in my books actually works and my scenario's depict how it would probably be in any real life end game scenario, depending on a great many factors of course. This I know from my own experiences and those of my closest friends who number doctors and psychologists to name a few. I also know this because I'm a history nut and history definitely repeats itself with great frequency.

I'm approachable so if you enjoyed my book and feel like dropping me a line go right ahead. I will respond to each and every one. I've met a great many of my fans now and all were a pleasure to talk to. I also love criticism. My feeling on that, is it helps me become a better writer. I can only improve, is my thinking.
