About the Author

John H. MacNaughton (1929-2022) served in several parishes in the Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota before being called as rector of Christ Church, San Antonio, Texas, in 1975, a position he held until becoming Bishop of West Texas in 1986. Bishop MacNaughton retired in 1996.
