Karmel Schreyer is of Canadian origin, a writer, a mother of two young children, and an English teacher in Asia. Her published works include two fiction titles written for teenagers, a family memoir, various poetry works, and a picture book.

Sindy Lau, an adept in commercial illustrations, enjoys experimenting with acrylic and watercolor in her fine art works and installations. Peek-a-Boo Street is her first attempt in picture book illustration. Sindy loves animals and has kept a bunny called Piglet.
