About the Author

Wang Xiaoni has taught at Hainan University. Her poetry publications include My Paper Wraps My Fire, Something Crosses My Mind, and On Visiting Friends. The English translation of Something Crosses My Mind (The Chinese University Press, 2014) by Eleanor Goodman was shortlisted for the Griffin Poetry Prize in 2015.
