Accused of rape, a U.S. Senator struggles to recall the implausible events that occurred during a fundraiser held on his behalf at the luxurious DeLuca mansion in Southampton. Found lying unconscious by the swimming pool, Senator Sid Taylor can't remember anything after an argument he had with his accuser, Sophia Giordano, the young and beautiful President and CEO of DeLuca Enterprises.

The Senator's wife, Valentina, is more concerned about her good standing within the powerful family than she is about the well-being of her distant cousin, Sophia.
