About the Author

Martina Bisbe Valdes, born in Santiago de Chile and settled for 31 years in Barcelona, starts to develop his passion for children's literature in 1994.
She loves writing stories for children based on reality. In her mind grows so much the power of seduction toward the children that soon her collection of books and stories full of imagination, began to take shape.
If she writes about the real life of ants is due to the great fascination exercised over her when she was small, and used to go to the garden to observe them. She reads books and writings by Huber, Maeterlinck, Wasmann, Chauvin and Wilson scientist. Also she studied the work of the Faculty of Biology from the University of Madrid as well as other works, where she discovers this great family of ants, and chose for their stories "The Harvesters of seeds" as protagonists of her collection, whose books are also imaginative and educational and are based on scientific studies of these insects.
