About the Author

Kenneth R. Himes, OFM, is associate professor of theology at Boston College in Massachusetts. The author, with Michael J. Himes, of Fullness of Faith: The Public Significance of Theology and the editor, with Ronald P. Hamel, of Introduction to Christian Ethics: A Reader, both published by Paulist Press, Fr. Himes is a member of the Order of Friars Minor (Franciscans) and holds a PhD from Duke University in religion and public policy.
